Megabus Stop - Washington, DC

The DC stop is now at Union Station, one level above Amtrak 's highest level. Take the escalators up to the bus deck. It's under the parking levels.

Great place to chill when waiting..just be here early if your catching metro here! And if your arriving, its a nice area with lots of bus service and a subway station not to far.

The Megabus employees are nice and helpful. There are nice bathrooms and places to sit down, which makes it the nicest Megabus stop out of D.C., NYC, and Pittsburgh.

Don't hassle thru Union Station if you getting a ride or taking a cab. Tell them to take you to the Parking Garage entrance on H Street between North Capitol and 3rd NE and then walk right in.

Boarding process is quick and efficient. Get there early to have a better pick at your spot on the bus .

The wifi never seems to work. My only complaint about the service! Buses are always clean and on time so far!

If you going to New York remember that your going to probably stop in bmore so if you have a seat to yourself it won't be there for long.

Any bus you get on to NY whether late at night or crack of dawn, be prepared to stand on a long behind line ! Smh you WILL be sitting next to someone!

Go to Chipotle in union station and bring some on the bus . Make everyone jealous. Rule the world.

Despite being in Union Station, the building is only open to Amtrak riders after 10pm (weekdays). Prepare to be waiting outside if you're on a late night bus !

The seats on the bottom level right inside the door are often best -- extra legroom, lean back w/o feeling guilty, didn't notice any problems being near the bathroom .

Don't count on charging your phone or lap top. This is my 4th trip again outlets not working. That means it has been available 1 in 4 trips for me. Nice clean buses though.

First place on second floor - it's beautiful!!!

Great stop. A straight shot from Union Station, lines are well marked, lady attendant is quite friendly !

Make sure to get there extra early for holiday travel.

Don't take the bus during the holidays. Left station 30mins late from DC to NY, changed drivers in Glover NJ (this was a direct express bus ), stalled and arrived in NYC 3hrs late.

The pick up area is huge, but every time I've taken a bus through, it is pretty well organized .

My tip Do NOT take Megabus. If you do, read the fine print . They have the right to put you on CoachUSA instead. No WiFi , No Outlets, No large leather seats. Shame, Shame, Shame on you Megabus.

Get to you bus on time or you'll pay $5 fee for standby on the next bus .

A sign or two with destination and time would be helpful...

Never sit near bathroom . You won't be able to breathe

Hungry? Get ice cream or hot dogs from the shady light blue van. Hide yo children!

Love megabus, but the outlets and wifi only work half the time...or less. Bring a book .

Free bus ride! Only 50 cent service fee, so I don't even mind if its late

Ugh. I won't be taking this bus again - and why would I, when there a so many other options from DC to NYC? Abysmal customer service, zero directional signs, rude employees and worst of all - no wifi !

Plan a picnic in the parking lot since your bus is going to be late.

Make sure to leave 30-50 min if you are connecting buses .

Megabus to NY delayed by almost an hour, which means we stood in line in the sweltering heat for an hour and 15!

Going north can be delayed, but going south is usually on time, and often early.

Horrible horrible horrible. Was scheduled to leave at 8pm, but delayed due to the DRIVER not being there. Hour and 25 minutes later, we finally have a driver but it'll be another 10 minutes to leave?!

Omg ... Megabus has got to do better!! I just experienced a ride from hell.

Terrible setup to get access to the terminal. Make sure you leave in plenty of time, because you will get lost.

Do not sit by bathroom u will suffer the entire trip

just horrible, the bus stopped and we had to wait 2 hours at the white station and lost time. Don't prefer, ever!

Not as good as Am track but much better thank stank crack head Greyhound.

The New Location is definitely Better

Leaves on time mid afternoon buses on weekdays

Unreliable bus , always 20 to 30 minutes late

Up stairs is better no one bothers you

Don't be late, I was once and had to wait an hour for the next bus .

If at all possible take Bolt Bus ... Mega Bus is horrible all the time.

3 out of 5 trips were the worst ever had to convert to BoltBus
