Cozy (tight) seating, but worth it. The Sloppy Jose was delicious. With just a hint of spice, it a favorite. The sandwich size is generous - I tried my best to finish it all.
Once you take a bite of the Cuban sandwich you could taste the citrus flavor in the pork ! Pretty good highly recommend. Also recommend the shrimp taco ! Next time I'm here I'm trying the corn 😀
Saturday evening for a quick bite and to satisfy a craving for some true Cuban meal. Noticed great spots at the bar , Food is great and the ambiance is chill , corn is really tasty cover with parmesan .
Share the corn . The quesadilla de pollo was good. My friend had the cuban sandwich which looked delicious!
This is one of my first loves of NoLita. Order the mexican corn (elote ) and stock up on the toothpicks. For something heavier, get the fish tacos with amazing rice and beans, or the avocado sandwich .
I constantly thank my friend who introduced me to this paradise of food. The corn 🌽 is epic (it's roasted with spices and cheese and lime juice ). The quesadillas are my fave, served w/ rice and beans
The corn on the cob seems to have lost its luster, but the Cubano sandwich is superbly done, with roast pork , ham , and pickles , all between toasted bread . It comes with a side of fries as well .
Get the Cubano , have it with a salad instead of fries so you can have plenty of room for a side of plantains . The corn is a must try if this is your first time here.
These amazing chicken tacos are great on their own, but they’re even better with a side of corn smothered in cojita cheese . Read more
Tiny spot (so be prepared to wait) with a fun Cuban-Mexican menu. The grilled corn is delish, although I wish it had more heat. You can also order food to go and eat it a local park .
Aside from the Mexican corn , the food is pretty blah. Amazing old school diner feel and downtown hipsters make it worth a stop for your touristy friends tho
If this Cuban sandwich was a painting , Jay Z in his later years (2009 to present) would rap about owning it.
Passion fruit frozen margarita is one the best cocktails I’ve ever had ! Also tried cuban sandwich and steak enchiladas and both rock!
This cute and usually crowded eatery serves up Cuban and Mexican dishes to perfection. Grab a beer with the famous grilled corn . Simply delicious.
The grilled corn comes with two but it doesn't say on the menu. Try the fish tacos .... With the jalepano margarita (strong and delicious)!! I was about to burst with happiness by the end of the meal.
The corn on the cob lives up to the hype. Amazing spot with a place for take out a few doors down. Delicious food with generous portions at diner style spot.
The corn is the best!!! And a great service from the girls. Be sure to arrive with enough time, this place can get very busy, but the wait it's really worth it!
Fooled by the name, many people wrongly believe this is a Cuban restaurant . Astute readers of the menu know that only Mexicans call a sandwich a "torta ". Get the signature torta cubana and a cocktail .
Nearly 20 years ago, models used to congregate here for the best Cuban corn in the city – and for late-night runway shows, of course. Still amazing maíz with cotija cheese , cayenne and mayo .
The drinks are always strong. The tostones are amazingly crispy and there are lots of vegetarian options .
The corn , and the shrimp tacos . Portions are hefty. Awesome little Mexican diner (not Cuban aside from the name and Sandwich ) w great atmosphere.
Fantastic frozen margaritas and unbelievably good corn on the cob. It's a tight squeeze inside but that only adds to the atmosphere! Try it.
The Cuban Sandwich and Grilled Corn Mexican Style are a must have. The music selection creates a cool easy vibe.
Start with two grilled corns , have some tacos or cuban sandwich , then have another two grilled corns at the end.
Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn ! Grilled Corn !
the Cuban Sandwiches here are a work of art , same goes for the roast pork sandwich . It's well worth spending a few extra dollars on the Mexican grilled corn .
Corn and skirt steak salad r amazing! U should have it with the mango frozen margarita ! My favorite restaurant in NY. Sometimes u should even wait for 2 hours!!! But its worth it..
Eat like you're in your own nyc apartment , with 20 of your friends, all squeezed together but all full of courtesies. Corn is the bomb and the sloppy pepe for brunch is the perfect portion
Yes the Cuban sandwich is that good. Don’t get it to go. Eat it as soon as it is ready, on the spot. It’ll be surprisingly dripping. Simply scarf it down.
The Enchiladas Estilo Norteno were delicious and I’m usually not a huge fan of enchiladas , the cafe con leche is perfect any time of the day!
The proportions here are massive. Get a burrito and definitely also order the corn . Go with an empty stomach.
Even if you just come here to try the corn it's worth it. Main restaurant is always packed but there's a takeout entrance further down the street.
Great place to grab the best Mexican corn on a stick! Before or after a show at nearby Webster Hall or Irving Plaza
The grilled corn is my favorite. Their margaritas are strong and delicious! There aren't that many seats so you might have to wait a little.
Cuban Sandwich , sweet Plantains with guacamole (the best) and mexican corn ! Great place! Definitely recommend!
Get the corn ! It's nicely done and probably packs enough calories for a meal in itself. The Cubano was good but I've had better. 3.5/5
Order the grilled corn & the Cuban sandwich , you will leave happy. This place is always packed, but the wait moves quickly. Plus, you're in SoHo, browse the shops while you are waiting.
These burritos are the size of a tiny baby! So yum and of course get double corn :)
They basically pay you to eat the huevos rancheros here. They're solid, and the cheapest good lunch you can get in Soho: $6.50.
The takeout fish tacos were worth the $6 price tag, they definitely don't skim on portions and the fish was perfectly lightly fried
If you are a fan of pork , so Cuban sandwich is for you. Chicken salad was also good
Great margarita and fish tacos 🌮 , music and Cuban good vibes! 🎶
Tyler Florence reveals his favorite on a stick, Mexican Grilled Corn , dusted with chili powder , lime and cotija cheese , at Cafe Habana on The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Find more tips at FN Local. Read more
Cute place! Get the elote or any of the huevos dishes. Perfect breakfast/brunch spot with a fun, laidback vibe.
The Pollo Mirador is easily one of my top 5 favorite dishes to order anywhere. Garlic lemon chicken -- what's not to like. Get a side of black beans . At Brunch : try the chilaquiles or the excellent du
Best place for a margarita and some mexican/cuban fusion. Hot music , authentic .
Mexican street corn . take out around the side. The one and only. Oft imitated but…. Cubano sandwich is killer too
The Cuban sandwich was probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in New York City
The corn-on-the-cob can't be beat! Great frijoles too. I can't get enough of the colorful atmosphere here.
LOVE the Mexican corn here. Yummy food, but the Brooklyn branch is quite a lot cheaper.
Pan Con Lechon.....yum yum yum! Not to mention the Yucca fries! Coming back tonight with Junot, Doug & Randi. - Tony Kitch
The grilled pork entree is outstanding. One of my favourite things to eat in the city. - Graeme Metcalf
The best cake slices in the city! I love the cookie dough and the strawberry crunch - Missy Mackey
Try the Understanding Vanilla - One of the best flavors to try in this spot - Built Frenchié
Always perfect coffee. Love the iced coffee with a shot. - Molly Stoddart
