Wonderful Art Deco interior with original wall pairings & light fittings. One of my all-time favourite spots in Amsterdam. Sadly it's expensive & service is terribly slow otherwise it would be perfect

Really nice art-nouveau decorated restaurant in the mid center of Amsterdam! Drinks a bit over-priced. But hey, that's what you get on Leidseplein. Have fun!

Good for meetings with business contacts, or read newspapers (provided). Bar closes around 22:30h. Not the best coffee - a Starbucks is nearby.

We had the Steak and the Breakfast set . Very nice and fresh! The decor is a plus, beautiful place!

Carpaccio , risotto and creme brûlée as part of theater menu is an excellent choice at very competitive price.

Suprisingly good burger and fries ! Defenetely recommended. And of course unique atmosphere!

The breakfast brunch is very expensive but decent. What you're really paying for is the fantastic ambiance. Kick it up a notch by going on Sunday for the jazz brunch .

A beautiful place but the Amsterdam burger was not that good though it does look good in the picture.

It's been said before but the struggle with any kind of service is real. Decor gorgeous.

Perfect for a glass of red wine or a coffee . Select atmosphere and a nice place to stop for a chat or romantic moment!

Great breakfast . I love the comfy chairs .

Terrible service. Although the place was more or less empty, we were refused the window table as it had space for 4 people. After I explicitly asked for over hard eggs , got them runny. Nice interior!

The sparkling water is very good. So is the lunch ; a bit overpriced, but the terrace and the wait staff is lovely.

Beautiful cafe ....food is ok , waiters are nice but the service is below average. A very negative point is that the place is full of mice. You clearly see them playing around the tables.

Poor service, inappropriate music , dirty and the mice have the run of the place. Sad - such a beautiful space gone to waste.

Expensive breakfast , but worth visiting at least once while you're in town to enjoy the space.

Stephen's vodka martini . An absolute (or even Absolut if you don't like Grey Goose) must.

Location, restaurant , service and food presentation were good. The food just tasted bland.

We waited 15 minutes for our drinks and when they came the waitress forgot one coffee and my beer wasn’t cold!

Classic grand cafe , nice place to read the papers, don't expect anything special here.

Wyagu burger is very good!

Such a bad place on every level. Nothing changes, it's been like this for years. Leave it for the weekend visitors who accidentally stayed here.
