Nice and beautiful place. Scenic spot. Tree Top Walk is the best among all. You actually feel that you are not in a city once you enter here. Can spot various trees and yes..beware of monkeys .

Fantastic nature reserve in the busy city of Singapore. Plan 3-4 hours and enjoy the yellow trail around the lake with the TreeTop walk. Great and sweaty workout.

Trail towards Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is not marked: walk west along Rifle range rd till you reach ST Engineering & look for pink markers

Oriental whip snake. Got lucky & spotted this vibrant yellow green snake catching some afternoon sun near the edge of the water

Go counter-clockwise from the car park to reach the treetop . Bring along your water bottle(s) and keep your food sealed as there are monkeys around. AND insect repellent is a must!

My highlight was getting really close to the monkeys . Please don't feed or disturb them. Just stand still and enjoy watching them get about their daily activities.

Catch the awesome view of the sunset while running on the wooden trail along the reservoir !

This is an amazing reserve and really nice way to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city .

There have short version of trail but you wont see the water from reservoir . Choose it before make a move!

take time out to just bathe in the green and enjoy the ripples by the gentle breeze:-)

Great walk. Watch for food snatching monkeys though. We lost our banana and bag for a while...

Great easy paths. Best views around the reservoir .

Nature pure, quiet and relaxing

Prepare some water or drink during trekking, no shop on the way.

Run or walk on the left... Be kind to others. Walk in a file. Pls don't hog the road .., thank you.

DO NOT carry your drinks/snacks in plastic bags visible to the monkeys around.

MacRitchie in the morning. Singapore cannot get more beautiful than this.

Bring water and good shoes . If you bring snacks , have it in zipper bags (otherwise monkeys might smell it). Small zipper bag for mobile. Nice primary and mature secondary forest . Enjoy.
