Great space for large groups - indoor and outdoor seating ; building is historic on the outside and very modern inside. Tasting is reasonably priced and staff is energetic and knowledgeable .
Tasting room was kind of hard to find... Need better signs. Oldest winery in valley. Pizza , coffee , and small bites on weekends. Bring picnic items, drink their wines .
Beautiful scenery , good wine , and tasty oven fired pizzas ? What more could you want?
Check out the Redwood Cellar just south of the tasting room . This is the original winery built by Charles Krug in the late 1800s and became the first commerical winery in the Napa Valley!
Wonderful experience and tasting! 😋😋😋
Reserve and Limited releases are divine. Taste at your own risk because you'll be taking home some bottles.
Annie is great!!! Great experience and AMAZING wines !
Charles Krug is credited with establishing Napa Valley's first commercial winery in 1861, by 1889 there were more than 140 wineries in The Napa Valley.
The cab tasting is fab. Don't get this confused with Krug champagne from France!
Clinic Ole Chili Ball ... lots of friends supporting a great cause ... and music by the Silerado Pickups!
Angie is the go-to person. Super sweet and nice.
The cheapest flight ($15) includes several wines not aged in oak... Where is the love?
Carol was awesome! Gave us great tips!
Wine is so good!
Try the 2010 Charles Krug Generations...
Meh... stopped at the end of the day. Good story. This is the original Mondavi family vineyard . But ya. Meh.
A must try Great great 08 Chardonnay with banana !
Ask for Buddy, the cat!
Good stories but small pours of meh wines make for a lack luster experience
Una bodega que vale la pena visitar! El Sauvignon Blanc es increíble! Super aromatico!!
Watch the daily specials ... My fave is Lamb ...unique and delish! And fried chicken is also excellent - Kennedy Brooks
Expensive tasting ($45) but the wines are great and the food pairings outstanding. Worth it. - David Smith
The way wine is paired is great. Jams, chocolate, salad, food. Ask for Troy. He knows the history and products the way only a lifelong local can. - Edgar Vinueza
Cool tour because you get to see the caves! A lot of history in this vineyard. Love the space. - Connie Chiu
Amazing padrone poppers but plan on getting a milk shake to go with it! SPICY! - Devin Wilson
Try the Strawberry Shortcake and the Lava Cake. Such a nice dessert! - KenTucky
