Barbecue maestro Hugh Mangum's West Village branch of Mighty Quinn's has opened. Come up to the counter, place an order, jockey for a chair or stool and eat. For the first time wine , is on the menu! Read more
I love beef brisket and theirs has to be one of the best I've ever had. The meat is so tender and although you can add some sauce, it's delicious even on its own. Pair it with some corn fritters !
Always a hit. Go for the ride bowl with burnt ends and make sure to take the broccoli salad . The Mac and cheese is honestly not that great and neither is the sweet potato
Reservations can be made at the West Village outpost of Mighty Quinn's for parties of up to 10 people via OpenTable. No special menu is required, which means guests can sample the many BBQ options. Read more
Brisket is so buttery and moist, reminded me of Texas BBQ . One of the two-three places in all of New York that I can compare it to Texas BBQ . Burnt end beans are the cherry on top.
Buttermilk Bacon Broccoli is surprisingly amazing. Probably going to give most of the credit to the buttermilk and bacon . Also, don't skimp on the mayo cole slaw .
Delicious food, fast serving. Great place to get quality food if in rush, but also a nice place to hang out with close friends.
spicy chicken sandwich (without slaw , for me) is a generous portion of fried chicken with buffalo-style hot sauce . do your best to resist the bread pudding as a side option
Great value and delicious food. Definitely try the burnt ends , which is literally the burnt ends of the brisket . Also get the brontosaurus rib and beans. Wasn't impressed with the pulled pork .
The brisket is the best I have ever had. A variety of pickled veggies (free) balance it out. Baked beans are great too (even cold the next day for breakfast )
It's all just so tasty! Plus, some great window seating for looking out on the West Village crowd.
I usually tell folks to go for the brisket , but the ribs are excellent as well . Nothing better than a platter, the broccoli side salad and a Brooklyn Brewery Beer .
Not nearly as crowded as the east village location but same great smoke. Ribs are cooked to a tad before "fall off the bone" for a perfect combo of texture and tender
Spare ribs and bbq sauce ; great combo. Pulled pork was very tasty, nice mix of smokiness and moisture. Unimpressed with the line management and checkout. Took about ten minutes to pay and sit down
Just as the East Village location the brisket here is magnificent. Though I was here rather late, I had the feeling that this branch is less busy.
Great addition to the WV - brisket and burnt ends are good ways to go. Also one of a few spots around here good for solo dining
Ribs are nicely done. Smokey & tender but with good pull & a bit of sweetness. The baked beans come with big chunks of brisket . Sausage is disappointing. Bland like an oversized hot dog .
Odds are your eyes are bigger than your stomach. Go with a single order of burnt ends (naked) and a small side.
I had the brisket sandwich and it was a pleasant surprise. It was fantastic, made just to the level where its not to dry and not to rare. Nice stuff
A little overpriced but food is good. Brisket is the best out of the meats and the potato salad and sweet potato sides are delicious.
First time here, and as a Texan I can say this is good BBQ ! Brisket and pulled pork are very tender. Didn't get sides this time, but the broccoli seems like the one to try.
Long lines for pretty solid (but not amazing) BBQ . Their ribs are probably their best offering but if you're serious about brisket you need to go to Brooklyn (delaneys or fette sau).
Place for a delicious food, meet lovers!
No need 4 reservations ; the space is good for big groups/birthday dinners bc everyone orders at the counter. Tender meat & GREAT BBQ sauce !
The brisket is delicious with a nice rub but burnt end baked beans are a must..meal unto themselves, and spicy !
Get the baked beans , might be better than the actual BBQ . Or a very very close second.
Also at smorgasburg in Williamsburg every Saturday.. Just eat something before bcs the line can get long. Worth the wait though.
Go for the brisket . The pulled pork is good, but not what they are known for. Also the edamame salad and cold broccoli salads for sides.
Always the pulled pork . They also have great beer selection on tap besides bottles.
Such a good place to grab a quick casual bite. Brisket is to die for.
The BBQ was excellent also the Mac& Cheese
Go for the burnt ends in sandwich it's amazing! The service is a bit slow though..
Wings are pretty spicy *warning* pulled pork yummy and get the ginger ale if you like ginger - it's very fresh.
The brisket is very tender. The beet salad was surprisingly flavorful. A touch of orange but not too much.
Burnt End Baked Beans and Buttermilk Broccoli Salad with Bacon are two amazing side dishes.
The BBQ was excellent also the Mac& Cheese .
The BBQ was excellent also the Mac& Cheese .
Brisket or Pulled Pork sandwich is always a good decision. The pickled peppers are pretty spicy .
delicious!!! had the burnt ends as a sandwich and it was killer. i hope they deliver ...
Pork ribs , boneless chicken and the potato salad is good just get a little extra salt for taste.
1/2 lb brisket sandwich with vinegar coleslaw and extra pickled cucumbers is LIFE
Burnt end sandwich , small beans, firestone IPA . Creamy slaw . Don't forget the sauce
Pickled veggies are just the icing on top of the meaty platters. Douse in BBQ sauce !!
Kale slaw is the perfect tart side. Brisket is falling apart goodness.
The Burnt Ends are where it’s at. Casual setting & good for groups .
Get there while the meat is still available!
Take two different kinds of meat because too much of a good thing can be quite wonderful!
Great food, but sometimes they run out of favorites like brisket too often.
Brisket is the best. Ribs and chicken are also great.
Sausages are excellent in this place, but wings are the best of the alternatives
Try the The Two Step - Brisket, pork spare ribs, beef ribs, & chicken - Damien Basile 😈
Stars here that outshine the rest of the menu items are the Fried Green Tomatoes app, BBQ wings or any BBQ or BBQ jerk chicken dish, collard greens & BBQ fried rice sides! ;9 - ZenFoodster
I love their texas sized Peach Piña Colada... Very good & will have you feeling nice! - Stefanie
Really nice place meeting place. The few times I've been, there has been something going on. Even in the winter! - Vivian Nguyen
Great meet-up spot for a very causal drink or beer. Sit outside and people watch as the drinks go down. - John A
