We are a small artisan bake shop located on First Hill between Downtown Seattle and Capital Hill. We bake everything from scratch in small batches using all natural ingredients. Come visit us for a freshly baked breakfast pastry or swing by for lunch. We also bake cakes for special occasions.

Beautiful baked goods all made in house. This reminds me of the blue stove in NYC. Will definitely be coming back soon. Great cookies and cakes , nice little lunch options. Perfect coffee .
I bought a whole cake , and they told me to let it sit out for 20 minutes, to allow everything to come to temperature. If you're in an air-conditioned space, double that for perfect butter cream icing.
Sugar Bakery and owner Stephanie are amazing. Just because it's not on a menu doesn't mean that can't make it. They are more then willing to accommodate special requests. Great cakes And guest service

Try a mocha or latte with a free homemade flavored marshmellow along with a savory or sweet brioche for breakfast ! Good soups + sammys at lunch too! xo

The peppermint mochas are pricey but also the best I've ever had! Not overly sweet either :)
Bakery 1st. Cafe 2nd. If coming for a quick coffee , beware of people making to go orders of pastries in front of you. You may be better off going elsewhere. Especially if you're strapped for time.
