This place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G...if you have the chance to go run don't walk...not to be missed...its very tropical , a jungle with amazing vistas of the ocean tucked away inside
$15/adult. For $5, a golf cart assists cane-walkers down/up the steep, 300-foot boardwalk. Flowers ! Orchids, ginger , cats whiskers, firecrackers.
Stunningly beautiful garden with amazing plants and views by the ocean. However, it’s enraging and stupid that they won’t let you hike down to the beach . Asinine really.
The floura and fauna are spectacular.

Make sure to spray bug spray before getting out of the car, you get attacked as soon as the car door opens. Off! works really well .
This is a "must go" location while on the Big Island ! It's between Hakalau Vacation Rental in Hakalau and Hilo.
Actually kind of a long walk, but beautiful garden .
The parking lot is 10-15 degrees warmer than the trail . Bring an extra layer.
