The Three Sisters is essentially an unusual rock formation representing three sisters who according to Aboriginal legend were turned to stone.
Echo Point Rd Katoomba NSW 2780 Australia
It gets alot colder here in winter than you'd expect. The wind coming in through the valley over the lookout will chill you to the bone. Bring a jacket .
A stunning spot you can just drive park and walk to the viewing area. Parking is charged until 17:00. It’s amazing to come and sunset to see the last of the rays hit the rest of this outstanding area.
Took most of my relatives here whenever they visited Sydney, a scenic view that always makes successful wow factor, do your own tour and walk the towny for a little bit before heading off
If you're going at night, bring along a torch light or use your phone light. It's so dark, you won't be able to see the concrete columns and could seriously injure yourself.
Ok , so walk down the steep steps and follow the path to the steepest train ride back and think about the last two hours wear comfortable shoes , carry water and think about a cool drink at the end !
Beautiful! You can take winding stairs down to the middle sister. Benches down their to sit a while and enjoy the view
Well worth a visit, walk suitable for the unfit with many hard walks for the fit and keen. Take water with you.
Great tourist spot , expensive park but well work the trip. The blue mountains are really blue :0)
It is worth paying for the cable cars at Scenic World, especially the family pass for people with lots of children.
It's better to go on a sunny day the mountains are much bluer also go early to get a good day trecking down the steps
Scenic views , good place to hike , don't forget the waterfalls .
Nice story, but the real star is the overall view , not the 3 rocks.
Been there thrice - once at night and twice during the day. Bring a jacket as it can get chilly.
One of the iconic views at the Blue Mountains .
One of the ultimate Aboriginal landmarks .Do not miss it.
How can they tell 3 rocks call Three Sisters. I guess they want to call the mother earth or mother of nature on land call sister. Great view to look at the Three Sisters. Lots of tourists !

It's nice to spend 2 days in Leura. I strongly recommend Wayzgoose Cafe (The best Pot Pie I ever had) and Josophan’s chocolates! Once on Blue Mountains, definitely go to Scenic World and Echo Point! - Sheila Mottecy
