Loved the atmosphere and the view . We didn't wait long considering they were busy. I had the Mahi Mahi stuffed crab and it was delicious along with the twice baked potato . Mmmm

One of the best seafood restaurants I've been to. My family members each ordered different things (boiled shrimp , raw oysters , stuffed mahi , stuffed flounder , crab cakes , stuffed shrimp ...) ALL delish

Everything we ordered was delicious!!! I had the shrimp po boy , hubby had shrimp and crab pasta , we had spinach and crab dip and then key lime pie . All of it was WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Will come back!

The Angry Amberjack was A-N-G-R-Y! You like a little spice in your life than you can't go wrong with this sandwich ! Food was good and our service was excellent!

This place is packed at night. Wait can be 60-90 minutes. Lunch is less crowdy. I went here because I wanted the Amberjack. It’s delicious. And you won’t find it on too many menus.

I've eaten at The Back Porch many times and have never been disappointed. Their seafood is always fresh and I've never had issues with bad service. This time I got the grouper and it was great!

Had the firecracker shrimp and the blackened grouper with twice baked potatoes and green beans , it was fantastic. Mixed drinks are strong and good. Place was packed on a Monday evening.

Appetizers are huge! Especially the onion rings so come hungry. Great view . The amberjack sandwich grilled was on point! We had the best service of the entire week. Thank you Mo!

The angry amberjack is PHENOMENAL! I recommend it 100%. Great service, great view and a great time comes with eating here. Prices are great for what you're getting.

Request a window seat . The breeze feels great coming off the ocean. Blackened Mahi is wonderful and so is the corn on the cob. We stop in every year. Our favorite restaurant in Destin.

A place where the chefs can be trusted: everything we tried was absolutely delish. The blackened amberjack was top notch. + Friendly service & beachfront location = highly recommended.

This place is pretty good. The Hush Puppies are awesome! Definitely recommend if your looking for a chill seafood place with good food and awesome drinks

Food and drinks were expensive . Firecracker shrimp was good. Don’t get the seafood nachos ! Came out cold and soggy ???? View was beautiful.

The BEST gulf coast seafood on our trip! The kids fish toes were excellent as well ; served on a cute frisbee to play with on the beach when done.

A favorite when in Destin. The latest addition of the beach porch is the best Great Mahi , grouper destin and fresh fried shrimp . The service however varies. A return visitor more than twice.

I recommend their oysters . Comes with wasabi . Also, food was great! We all loved what we chose. Waiting time was an hour tho.

The smoked tuna dip is awesome!! Crab cakes were ok, but have light batter on them... But the twice baked potato is also equally amazing!!

Great food! If you get MO as a server just know she had been the best that we have ever had there. She did a great job!

Fish was very fresh. The tuna was excellent.

Get the Blackened Amberjack

The view is outstanding! But the food is average & overpriced. I got the blackened snapper , Mahi Mahi , & Grouper and there was WAY too much red pepper overpowering the fish . The drinks were awful too.

The broiled jubilee was good, the stuffed shrimp less so. Excellent twice-baked potato . Good service .

Oysters are THE BEST thing on the menu. Try them plain or with crab dip on top.

Try The Back Porch Oysters . The baked ones with lobster and cheese . You won't be sorry!
