We complained about the lack of steak in the steak bap and they did bring us a lovely one to replace it. so I guess if people arent happy they should say so because the staff are lovely & helpful.😃

Lovely decor, dog friendly , I love the pear cider , but it is costly £5.50 a bottle. the cod and chips are the best and good value for money , anything else seems like small portions for a lot of money

Linney S

Great place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat while walking/cycling/running the towpath. Guest ales , nice chips and tons of places to sit outside.

Kevin Reed

Always a nice beer , with good views . What else do you need? Oh, the food’s great and the pub is beautiful.

Andrea Capella

Nice place, close to the river . I love their pizza . Have a nice selection of wines and you can have great beers here, as Blue moon.

Martina Juzka

Great place..amazing interior with this warm homely feeling..very cosy..Love it..definitely one of my favourite ones London

Eamonn Carey

A gem of a place. Get a seat by the River on a sunny day and watch the world go by

Simon Stuart

A great location, which made the dire Sunday Lunch all the worse. Should have realised when everyone was going for the pizzas , burgers or fish & chips . Bland, unseasoned and overcooked everything

Max Scott-Slade

Not many good beers on tap , but the Truman Pale will get you through. Get some local craft stuff you nutters!

Claire M

Good food, nice servers and lovely atmosphere. Love this place!

Annix L.

Good cod with chips , great for sunny days.

Patrick Smith

A completely different place after a July refit from owners Youngs. Gastropub menu, posh decor and family-friendly setting replaces sports screens and quiz nights.

Daren Williams

Nice outdoor space with cover

Emli

Very nice place but a little heavy on the bread . That said, do try the garlic pizza bread !

Emma P

Try the burgers ! Very yum! And you can bring your dogs too!

Daniel Davies

this pub is great in the winter too when the coal fire is ablaze. The real ale is well managed and addictive.

Mike Scott

Lively spot by the canal the food can be hit or miss though.

Rosa Reid

A nice evening place

Michaela Knight

Great scotch eggs . That’s it. That’s the one.

Charles evans

Reopened as another Hackney estab that thinks this is the new Notting Hill . No, just give us decent grub at normal prices, please. U have a good location, not a gr8 one. & normal people not nuv riche

Ben Clarke

They do Adnams Mosaic . Delicious!

!!!!

Sunny and nice ;)))

Matt White

Actually, it's more than just wanky - it's unnecessarily expensive and the beer has cack in it.

Martin Togher

Young's pub , does standard pub grub , big screens for sports . Right by the canal , great in the summer.

Burçak A.

Hamburger and chips

Matt White

It's less pub-like now and a bit more wanky.

Benjamin Willard

Last pub on the Lea before Hackney Wick.

Jon Berger

The chips are the king.

Andrew Saffrey

A good stopover or destination for a Lea Valley walk.

ORAQUL

A place to unwind.

Scot-

looking forward as time passing towards the 2012 Olympics ! Best wishes . . .

Dan

A bit overpriced and didn't like the atmosphere.
