One of the best coffee shops in Brookline. Great service, coffee and the food is delicious. The only problem is that there is not enough space to seat down so you have to be lucky to find a table.

Wejdan ✨

It became huge and crowded since last time i was there and i'm not mad. Same great service and super quality of food. Everything is amazing here. Try the lemon tart !

Jason Feldman

May be a little bit more pricey than your usual place, but trust me it's well worth it. The food, coffee and pastries are always fresh and homemade ; the atmosphere adds a bit of poshness to Beacon St.

Warren Lain

Just a piece of heaven. The croissants , tarts , meringues , and cookies make me feel like I'm in Paris. Some really unique pastries , too, like pistachio-cherry tarts . And North African dishes too? SOLD.

Jeremy Krantz

Here for breakfast ? Try their Shakshuka . Looking for a snack ? Get their pistachio croissant . Although honestly you pretty much can't go wrong with just about anything they have. It's all delicious.

Antonio

Although mostly French-themed, this place will be loved by Italians working around Kendall/MIT area. The cheapest single espresso happens to be among the best espresso in the whole Cambridge.

Ilya Mironchyk

Awesome place! Beautiful, stylish , minimal. Food is delicious! Croque Madam highly recommend. Spinach goat cheese scrambled egg good enough!

Serious Eats

A European cafe plopped on the outskirts of Brookline that serves beautiful pastries—some Middle Eastern-inspired—and a lavish breakfast built for two.

Elaine Courtney

I love almost everything here, including old favorites like the mint lemonade , and new ones such as the Turkey Cutlet sandwich ! They make a pretty mean latte too.

Francisca Tan

Almond croissant . Warm soft flaky crisp in every bite. Best croissant by far! Excited to try everything else on the menu.

Wejdan ✨

This is my favorite tatte. Eggplant with goat cheese , tomatoes and pesto is to die for!! Grilled viggie is as good. Sandwiches sold out early.

Albie S

Order the poached eggs . (Poached eggs served over fried cheese on grilled tomatoes served over bread ) meatballs pretty good too. I wish Tatte was open till 10.

Marcus Jason

I've walked by for years ignoring the lunch menu . Then I tried the braised beef grilled cheese and meatball sandwiches . I'll never ignore this place again.

Achal Varma

Great Cheesecake ! Also try their poached eggs , which are served with tomatoes and halloumi cheese on Sourdough toast .

Yaber Al Hameli

Every things they have I loved it 😍... Deaaam of shakshooka some thing Incredibly interesting 😋😋😋

While Tatte is technically in Brookline, it's very close to several colleges in the Boston area. Their baristas are very friendly and they serve Illy coffee (one of my favorites).

Boston.com

At the Brookline favorite’s new Kendall location is the pistachio croissant , made extra decadent with an additional round of butter folded in, house-prepared pistachio paste, and toasted pistachios .

Alex Dobyan

Pricy-ish, but damn it if the brioche doesn't make a sandwich worth it. Bear in mind that eating inside is pleasant but cramped; outside is wonderful.

Ukemeabasi Esiet

Their hot chocolate is made from actual chocolate bars and when the weather's nice, you can pretend you're having a European brunch at the outdoor seating

Gretchen Murphy

This cafe is always buzzing, but it's worth the wait. I've yet to try the food but everything looks amazing.

Debra Schultz

The food is very, very good, but there is never an available seat to eat your food - the place is filled with people using the free wifi and taking up whole tables. It is really discouraging.

Christina Liu

Cute and cozy atmosphere . Hot cocoa is nothing special but the pistachio croissant with real pistachio bits and pistachio paste inside is delish.

A S

The maple pecan pie and the goat cheese mushroom savory puff were delish! Did not enjoy the texture of the cheesecake , too dense.

Greg Greene

The food: as delicious as it is photogenic. (Follow on Instagram at @tattebakery to whet your appetite.)

Faris Altorki

The Avocad egg is the best👌

roxanne

The tiny little cranberry and pistachio cookies are a perfect add to any hot beverage ... Just the right amount of something sweet

The Taste Sheriff

Best birthday cakes in Boston. For Europeans only -and the few Americans who can truly appreciate European delights.

Adam Sigel

I don't drink coffee , but the breakfast sandwich and pastries are all excellent

Kate w

Sarah Foley

The pastries , sandwiches and Stumptown coffee are great.

(Best of Boston 2014-BAKERY)Improper Bostonian says, "This Brookline favorite recently welcomed three Cambridge siblings, but there are no growing pains here."

Munira D

The best bakery and breakfast spot in Boston, the shakshoka is a must to try

Steph Fell

The mint lemonade is fantastic here, ask for the large one light on ice. The flourless brownie is also a must!

Mazyar

Very lovely place, Their Cappuccino is one of the best in Boston area.

Mahee Ferlini

My favorite brunch place in Boston. The pistachio croissant is incredible

Samantha McDuffee

Great place to hang while you wait for all the other places to open for brunch . Gluten free pastries too!

Nick Aldwin

Turkey sandwich is basically Thanksgiving on brioche . Grab a mint lemonade and you're all set.

Cat Meirelles Buchatskiy

Betty White latte with the raspberry cheesecake cup! Trendy , cute place.

Sara

Tomato soup and chicken avocado salad are just wonderful. It is hard to leave Tatte without getting a HUGE dessert , though.

Seung-Jin Ham

everything is good here. you really can't go wrong.

Liz D

Good brunch and coffee . Busy on weekends. Shakshouka was great.

Ryan Nixon

Great cafe offerings, average price

Andrew Hogue

Potato and bacon Shakshuka is an amazing way to kick off your day.

Eric Stratton

The brioche breakfast is where it's at. 2 brioche , 2 types of preserves, and 2 small coffees . What more could a couple want in the morning.

Didi Falco

Go early if you want to get their awesome Sugar Brioche !!!!

Sam Kim

Their espresso drinks made from illy beans are the best in the neighborhood .
