Tatte Bakery & Café

One of the best coffee shops in Brookline. Great service, coffee and the food is delicious. The only problem is that there is not enough space to seat down so you have to be lucky to find a table.

It became huge and crowded since last time i was there and i'm not mad. Same great service and super quality of food. Everything is amazing here. Try the lemon tart !

May be a little bit more pricey than your usual place, but trust me it's well worth it. The food, coffee and pastries are always fresh and homemade ; the atmosphere adds a bit of poshness to Beacon St.

Just a piece of heaven. The croissants , tarts , meringues , and cookies make me feel like I'm in Paris. Some really unique pastries , too, like pistachio-cherry tarts . And North African dishes too? SOLD.

Here for breakfast ? Try their Shakshuka . Looking for a snack ? Get their pistachio croissant . Although honestly you pretty much can't go wrong with just about anything they have. It's all delicious.

Although mostly French-themed, this place will be loved by Italians working around Kendall/MIT area. The cheapest single espresso happens to be among the best espresso in the whole Cambridge.

A European cafe plopped on the outskirts of Brookline that serves beautiful pastries—some Middle Eastern-inspired—and a lavish breakfast built for two.

I love almost everything here, including old favorites like the mint lemonade , and new ones such as the Turkey Cutlet sandwich ! They make a pretty mean latte too.

Almond croissant . Warm soft flaky crisp in every bite. Best croissant by far! Excited to try everything else on the menu.

This is my favorite tatte. Eggplant with goat cheese , tomatoes and pesto is to die for!! Grilled viggie is as good. Sandwiches sold out early.

Order the poached eggs . (Poached eggs served over fried cheese on grilled tomatoes served over bread ) meatballs pretty good too. I wish Tatte was open till 10.

I've walked by for years ignoring the lunch menu . Then I tried the braised beef grilled cheese and meatball sandwiches . I'll never ignore this place again.

Great Cheesecake ! Also try their poached eggs , which are served with tomatoes and halloumi cheese on Sourdough toast .

While Tatte is technically in Brookline, it's very close to several colleges in the Boston area. Their baristas are very friendly and they serve Illy coffee (one of my favorites).

At the Brookline favorite’s new Kendall location is the pistachio croissant , made extra decadent with an additional round of butter folded in, house-prepared pistachio paste, and toasted pistachios .

Pricy-ish, but damn it if the brioche doesn't make a sandwich worth it. Bear in mind that eating inside is pleasant but cramped; outside is wonderful.

Their hot chocolate is made from actual chocolate bars and when the weather's nice, you can pretend you're having a European brunch at the outdoor seating

This cafe is always buzzing, but it's worth the wait. I've yet to try the food but everything looks amazing.

The food is very, very good, but there is never an available seat to eat your food - the place is filled with people using the free wifi and taking up whole tables. It is really discouraging.

Cute and cozy atmosphere . Hot cocoa is nothing special but the pistachio croissant with real pistachio bits and pistachio paste inside is delish.

The maple pecan pie and the goat cheese mushroom savory puff were delish! Did not enjoy the texture of the cheesecake , too dense.

The brioche breakfast is where it's at. 2 brioche , 2 types of preserves, and 2 small coffees . What more could a couple want in the morning.
