This was ONE of Victor Hugo’s homes and it’s a reconstruction with original furniture . Nevertheless, the place has a unique ambiance. Free only when there’s no exhibition .
Free entrance . Good place to spend an hour if you're hanging around. Chinese room inside shows funny Chinese paintings which is not easily found in China. :)
Good museum to find out about a part of Hugo's life. The wallpapers in his apartment , though, seem crazy. Permanent collections (his apartment itself) are free of charge.
Wonderful experience. I noticed thing i never thought about. This is a place for people who adores art .
Of course u should go and visit here with no hesitation. I enjoyed my visiting and it was free I just payed for audio guide
Very interesting perspective on Victor Hugo and you get to see his personal collections and his bedroom!
Located on the beautiful Place des Vosges. You have to see where the famous writter Victor Hugo lived for 16 years if you're interested in French's history and literature !
The visit takes about one hour and it's free. Unless there's an exhibition . In that case you must pay. But it's definitely worth the money.
Make sure to get an audio guide n you'll hear tiny details about Hugo... great place to visit if you're on the neighborhood .
A must when in Paris , beautiful collection of Victor Hugo personal items, the Maison is a gem .
If you are not into victor Hugo paintings , don't visit the exhibit . Just visit the house on the 2nd floor, it's free
worth a visit, found out about some new aspects of the writer
For the literature freaks♡ This is the man that molded some brains .. And I am one of them????
Free entrance . Worth visiting.
Unfortunately it is closed till 2020 due to the restoration.
lovely place
Dont go on Mondays
Go alone! No, with your iPod. Nice place to know here. Read more
You need to be very interested in Victor Hugo to find this interesting.
Exposição temporária.
Very beautiful to walk through, super close to the gardens of Palais Royal so dropping by here before or after is ideal ???? - Zoe T. ✨
