This place is amazing. You would need the whole afternoon to stroll through the different style of gardens and enjoy them. Stay till the evening to enjoy a different ambient lighting environment.

Nathan Mueller

Italian garden is very scenic , an almost Roman look really brings out the color of the flowers . Make sure to bring money for ice cream and don't forget to try out the tea ! It's truly upper class 😏

Beverly

Tea service at the main dining room is wonderful. If weather is nice, ask for an outdoor table when reserving . Enjoyed their flight of wines accompanying tea service - nicely paired!

Elizabeth Fernandez

Check it out in the fall. The colors are stunning. Even with the rain we absolutely loved it. They provided umbrellas. Go to the coffee shop on the way out to warm up by the fireplace .

Richard Lillis

If you're going here and taking a ferry be sure to get on the first ferry of the day because it's going to be super crowded by the time the second ferry lands.

Roberto Bruder Aguiar

The colors in this place are unbelievable! I can spend a whole day here and be amazed with each small flower !

Brian Yamanaka

The highlight is the sunken garden . Go in the late afternoon, have dinner and then go back to the sunken garden for the night walk. The fireworks are county fair not Disney bring a blanket to sit on.

Andra Nicoara

The fireworks show on Saturdays (during summer) is a must see! Fireworks combined with orchestra music are a great way to spend the evening. Bring a blanket :)

Cynthia Lin

So beautiful here! Rare geographical area where so many types of flowers can all thrive

Roula Hanna

Beautiful gardens and a must see while in Victoria . Can be overcrowded in the afternoon.

Awesome during the winter, fun to see what they do with the lights. Food at the cafe is subpar and expensive so bring a snack .

Paulo Puglisi

Must stop here. Be prepared for a wonderful display of nature... And also be ready to pay a lot for it.

Eagle Wing Whale & Wildlife Watching Tours

I suggest you plan for a late afternoon visit, enjoy dinner in the dinning room, then walk through the gardesn again at night (gardens colourfully lit up), then enjoy the fireworks . It is like visitin

If you love photography , the best time of day for a visit and best pictures is early!!! Soft light , and a nice dew on the leaves and petals. Beat the daytime rush too!

Beautiful place. Unreasonable prices. Bring your own food and drinks.

if you're a local get a season pass, dropping in for a walk with your dog to listen to music in the summer is awesome... and try the hot chocolate !

Jon B.

A bit crowded , being a top tourist attraction for Victoria , but the colors were breathtaking

Bryan Clark

The fireworks (summer Saturdays @~10 pm) are great - just hold your place with a blanket by about 7:00pm!

beautiful but it gets crowded . better to go early in the morning or late in the evening

Mark Yager

If you want a seat at the fireworks , bring a warm blanket to sit on and set it up at least 2 hrs prior to show, then walk the gardens and get back to the blanket 30mins before fireworks start

The autumn colors are spectacular! True all over the park , but particularly in the Japanese garden .
