You walk in and are greeted very professionally. The service is perfect. I love the robata bar . No of a corner so you don't have to look sideways at your dinner companion. Grab lesser know fish collar
I was 2007 first time at Nami, then 2015 and 2016. it's My fav sushi at TO. I'm veggie and they have a fab choice of veggie sushi and dishes. The grilled veggies are the best try yam and enoki mushroom
Sit at the sushi bar . There is a small board showing what's fresh and still available. The blue fin toro absolutely melts in your mouth
Really high quality sashimi , friendly staff , and very authentic . The decor is a little dated, but it's legit.
Truly AAA-grade Sushi and Sashimi , priced at an expected but still very reasonable premium. Best in Toronto? Maybe...but it's probably the best I've had so far
Anago (Salt water eel ) is eye-roll excellent. This may be the only place in Toronto that has it...or at least one of few. Worth the arm and leg paid, but i do miss my arm.
You can have dinner in adorable little Washitsu-style lounges ! The staff is very nice, representing the Japanese culture. And get the Sashimi !
Amazing authentic Japanese restaurant . One of the best missoshirus that I've had in Canada. Warm and cordial service!
Just okay.. Anago was not fresh and very dry. Soba was good with a tasty broth and sashimi fresh. They had uni from Japan but very little uni in sushi .
Soba with beef was delicious and only $14!
👍🏻I love sashimi ! And the service was good!
Customer appreciation event : Feb 4-13th; $2.80 for 16oz glass of draft Sapporo beer !
Good sushi but the rolls are really small. I got the salmon & spicy tuna rolls and enjoyed them.
Try the sushi pizza though everything we had was good.....
Authentic Japanese restaurant serving quality food. A very safe bet.
Try the seaweed salad with sashimi dinner - both are fantastic!
The black cod looks a little scrawny on the plate, but it is so delicious! Try it!
Great authentic Japense resto. Everything is fresh, love the spinach salad .
Ask them for market price of fishes on side black board between sushi chefs . (Eg. Blue fin toro sashimi today is $18/ 3 PC's)
Some places just haven't kept up with the times and this place is just that place
For something different, try the Shabu Shabu (Japanese hot pot ). It's fun with friends and super tasty.
Been recommended that this is as close to Japan as it gets...need to try
Super fresh and authentic
Fav is anago roll. Rich meaty eel
Great food
Sushi& Sashimi combos
Very Japanese in both service and patronage. You'd think it would be better than average (at twice the price).
Always check out the chalkboard beside the sushi bar to find out what's fresh.
Really good sushi in downtown Toronto with an authentic Japanese atmosphere and reasonable prices. Read more
Beef pizza
Kaido salad
Try the spicy Tina sashimi with quails egg .... Delicious!
Small portions and on the expensive side, but top quality.
When making a reservation , ask for a booth .
Gyu Kaku is a great yakiniku chain from Japan. The menu is well planned, well priced, and delicious. The atmosphere is fun and great for groups. - Adam McNamara
Have the sashimi salad, grilled cod and almond tofu for desert... Excellent! - Seb
Try the ceviche -- it is awesome. And the tempura butterfish is pretty incredible too - Mathew Ingram
Try the Chaka Calm if you’re looking for something that’s the love child of lemonade and sangria. Great summer treat. - Kevin Lee
