My favourite. This beautifully decorated venue serves food and drink in its cafe during the day and offers a jam-packed calendar of music events throughout the year. Do recommend.

Great atmosphere. Has a large selection of vegan food (burgers , curries , nachos etc.) Check the specials board each day.

Great little venue upstairs in a historic building that’s an excellent place to see a band. Also a nice bar serving decent beer on the floor below & a decent little room for hire in the basement .

Great venue for gigs . The floor upstairs literally bounces! Expensive drinks so get tanked up before u arrive or bring a hip flask

Good venue, sound was nice and clear, nice terrace too. Not great beer selection though better than many venues. Bar was a bit expensive , not unexpected.

Sweet potato chips in a bowl with mayo and sweet chilli dips are amazing with any beer . Well worth a slurp!

Food has become a bit basic recently but still reasonably priced. Loyalty card 2-4-1 offers on cocktails withdrawn too. Victims of the recession?! Bring back spicy fries !!

Went on a wednesday and one of the barmen was extremely rude to myself and my friend on two seperate occasions. All other staff are very friendly though, especially during the day time.

Have a look at the list of upcoming gigs - watching a gig is cosy and intimate , like being in your front room.

Touring bands: ask to use the upstairs flat. Sleeps 6/8 with a kitchen - save £'s for more beers downstairs.

And a music venue has to have as WiFi password the name of a band... Yeah! ÇP·$

Charming venue but a shame they can't be bothered to provide decent toilets for customers, cubicle doors don't lock! Avoid the Trof beer too

Just had the seasonal Pumpkin and Chorizo risotto . Amazing.

Don't get real ale .. They'll charge you a fiver for it!

Quiet by 2pm if you want to avoid the lunch rush.
