Great food, service was a little rushed and informal. Didn't expect to pay £3 per head for the bread + dips . Overall very good experience and would return but would order tapas to start instead.
Pan fried duck breast with wild mushrooms , green beans , sautéed new potatoes , bacon , butternut squash purée, spinach and red wine gravy (£18)
Flat iron steak with bacon , mushroom , stilton , fat chips , side salad and ketchup-mustard salsa (£16)
Early bird dinner for me and the wife, £10 each and the kids eat free before 7pm. Talk about value ! £20 for four, with a couple of drinks!
One of the best rare steaks I've had in the U.K. and local, try the sirloin .

Great 'high end ' good. Can't book so turn up a but early invade you need to wait- nip next door to the York or Broomhill Tavern
This place is a gem. Try the beef curry if it's on.
Oh, and they serve Estrella Damm on draught ! £3.95 a pint - not to bad a price for the UK
Pie was okayish. Prefer thicker pastry and gravy .

Great food though not exactly cheap. Epic gin and whisky selections, beer isn't bad either. Cocktails are very good. Nice atmosphere, very cosy. Book ahead for food, it gets busy. - Sam M
