The park is closed between 10pm and 6am (ugh) and no pets are allowed inside, only at the perimeter. Nevertheless, it's a nice, quiet park . Lots of joggers and dogwalkers after office hours.
The park is generally pretty nice and Saturday market is a good place to catch breakfast . However, the playground equipment condition is atrocious. So many missing bolts or poorly attached bolt geez!
Notice the ALVEO Land Fence along Leviste St? Yes! On this location, facing Velasquez Park will be erected the PRIME residential condominium by Ayala Land Alveo. Want to learn more? call 09274890669
Convenient place in Makati to get hard to find plants and produce that are not available in most supermarkets . Parking space is limited so come early or have yourself dropped off/picked up.
Nice community park . Not as crowded as the Legaspi or Ayala Triangle parks
I love this park , have the best (and worst) memories in it. I hate the new "curfew time" of 10pm though. Some of us only get home from work around that time.
Perfect for your morning jog or after-dinner walk. Starbucks and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf are just a few steps away. Kids play until 10PM!
Park hours recently changed as neighboring residents complained of intolerably loud nuisances coming from highly suspicious "ninjas" picnicking past midnight (per park police )! Lol!
weekend market here is the best! if you wish to shop here, i suggest you bring your own shopping bag. yes they give plastic bags but they encourage people to be environment friendly :)
Go to the Salcedo Weekend market - open on Saturdays from 7am to 3pm. Enjoy fresh local produce , home-made delicacies and all 3 kinds of lechon - native lechon , Cebu lechon and lechon Baka(cow)
I was told that late at night, things happen inside the cars parked along the streets around this park . Let's see if it's true...

Those pecans from the guy who sells wheatgrass, etc are pricey (at 1.5k a kilo) and hard to peel (nutcracker anyone?) but super addictive! I'm hooked.

The No Fun Park . No ballplaying allowed. No dogs allowed. Third-world backward policies of management. You'd be better off going to nearby Ayala Triangle Park .
