Takes a bit of time with customs and bag check so plan a bit more time ahead! You can print ur tickets at the kiosk if u have ur code so don't worry if u don't have printer access! Wifi is not stable
Tip for people sitting at a table seat. You can remove the knee cracking ashtrays so you have more room for your legs! Then conveniently place it above your head in the little gutter. More leg room!!
It's nice to arrive in a station like that after a long way from Paris to London. Free wifi in the whole terminal and a great infrastructure, mixing the old fashion w/ the 21th century's architecture .
While Waiting, we can charge our smartphone battery. But not all the plugs, functioning well . But there's some to choose and you can eat your meals near this handy bar 👌 or buy a magazine to read 📰
If you struggle for seats downstairs, just take the stairs to the first floor. Carluccio's is almost empty and lots of space inside to warm up. It has toilets as well !
Fast check-in, efficient staff , clean station, all the opposite of what you will find if you travel to Paris.
Very nice train station , trains always on-time, easy access , easy drops by cars or taxi , display screens everywhere for departure timings. Nice cafe , comfortable seats , fast & convenient. Recommended.
The space up around the trains themselves often seems calm and peaceful compared to the chaos below. Hang around under the clock and watch the Eurostar trains come and go.
Beautiful train station , looks like the one used in the Harry Potter movies (platform 9 3/4). Nice selection of food once you get through immigration and security.
A modern marvel to us Americans visiting Europe. My favorite way to get from Paris to London by far. A glimpse of a greener future of travel for all!
Have your passports ready. Arrive early if you want grab a bite to eat there are several tasty options if you have time. The station is beautiful. Don't be late because they are very efficient.
If traveling Eurostar to paris, book car ahead of time with sncf idcab- they meet you with your name on sign at front of train and walk you to car.Reasonable pricing to avoid navigation hassle
Take care at 18:00 there is a train for Paris AND also one for Brussels! most of the time sharing same boarding door... Double check if you are in the right train before discovering it at last second
The most important station in England and you can go to France, Netherlands and Belgium through it. It has many shop and restaurants
Looking for just a Paris travel card? Don't bother getting the "Paris Pass". Wait until you arrive in Gare du Nord, and purchase a "Mobilis" card from an automated ticket machine in full english.
Nice station BUT the stores are outside Eurostar check-in, so make sure to go to M&S, Fortnum & Mason beforehand. Salad vending machine empty, bread-only options at cafe , WH Smith. Handy £-€ exchange.
Pretty good and fast getting through security etc. but there’s not much sitting space after security.
Don't worry if you arrive too early before departure. This station is well equipped with many shops and eateries .
The Eurostar departure terminal is a small, packed cattle pen, very unpleasant. What makes it so galling is that it sits in a gigantic gorgeous train station . Also, no signal, no functioning wifi
Great train station links between UK & Europe
As there are some old tips saying you can't take hot drinks through, just to re-affirm you now can. They even stick it in a cup holder through the scanner.
Beautiful building. Much nicer experience than in Paris!
Want something better to eat on your departing journey? Many of the food outlets at St Pancras Station offer a click and collect takeaway service, order from a few minutes to several days in advance.
The information desk sells Paris Metro/RER tickets (no expiration date) in packs of 10. Very useful if you have a tight connection with a station change in Paris.
Tracy Ermin sign - love it and so strategically placed
Fun architecture though not enough to take your mind of Eurostar lines which can be long at certain times. Free wifi .
A great station with lots of venues and ways to pass the time. The free wifi all over the station is something all stations should have! Love it!
We love the architecture at this station, its our local commute every day and always makes us smile when we walk through it
Gorgeous architecture , modern train station , shops, restaurants and free wifi . If you have time, pop into @TheGilbertScott for a cocktail .
If you're an iPhone user, no need to print out your Eurostar ticket any more. Just download the ticket into the Passbook on your iPhone.
Free WiFi , lots of shops and places to eat
Great for dining and shopping. Give yourself time for check-in during weekends - it can be chaos!
If your trip is in the am, get here around 6 and you'll miss long cafe queues starting 630. Toasted ham and cheese better than the meatball sandwich
The system punishes people who arrive early as instructed on the ticket. They put you in a 40-minute long wait line instead of check in early. My family disapproves of this station.

Go check who’s playing the piano. It’s almost always in use and the music is just mesmerising 🤗
Head to the The Undercroft Bar if you struggle to get a seat. Two coffees will cost you around £4.30 and you will be able to get a rest while you wait for the Eurostar.
Quite busy. Good luck finding a place to sit. Get there at least 45m to 1hr before departure. Gates close 30m prior. There’s a pret if you fancy a snack to take on the train
Always get here at least 1hr before departure, you never know when there's gonna be a jam at check in! Trust me, I do this trip once a month
Wonderful place business home
Don't bother checking in until the last minute as there's very little to do once passed security, with no re-entry. Enjoy all the shops and food outlets in the Arcade, Circle and Grand Terrace first.
The Barlow train shed (designed by William Barlow in 1863) for many years held the record for the largest enclosed man-made space in the world Read more
If you've sore feet or need a quick taste of true English culture, grab a beer and sit at the comfiest high-chairs @SourcedMarket
Make sure to get here around an hour before your departure! You have to check in and get your bags scanned before your gate. I almost didn't make it! =X
When travelling between European countries with an unlocked smart-phone, pre-purchase a MAXROAM SIM card to enable trouble-free, inexpensive data use. On arrival, buy a local SIM card for better rates
Catch the Eurostar train here. Eateries and shops here while you wait for your train .
If departing early in the morning, it's advisable to eat before arriving. The places that are open are usually busy and crowded .
Stop by the Paul bakery just opposite check-in - a much larger choice of sandwiches and some of the best macaroons !
Who came up with the idea that you need less seats in the waiting hall than the number of passengers on the train ?
It’s a huge place filled with restaurants and shops. There are many railway companies spread around this large complex. Badly situated signs will not help much. Ask your way around.
Awesome first time experience. We were well attended to by the staff, who ensured our comfort & fetched drinks & pastries for us. Charging available at every seat. Great, welcoming attitude by staff. - Jayson Chitwood-Patton
Very nice train station, you need 40 min. earlier than your departure time. trains always on-time, easy access, easy drops by cars or taxi, display screens everywhere for departure timings. Nice cafes - Abdulrahman Almunayes 🇰🇼
The best croissaints and macaroni. Try the orange juice. - Vinicius Carvalho
