It was super good! All the meat was delicious; tender and well seasoned. Kirin beer on tap was great. Happy hour between 9:30 and 11 was unreal... reduced prices for food and drinks!

Happy hour all year round. Take a chance on it. It's more than valuable discount , you will love the variety of beef . If you don't know which you would like, please try one of the courses.

Here's a tip - unscrew the tip of each of the three sauce bottles and pour direct from the bottle! Otherwise you will take forever pouring the sauces into the container :)

Everything is so good... get the scallion with sauce add on. Delicious to cook with or by itself. The seared tuna appetizer is some of the best tuna I've ever had. The meal combos are also excellent.

Great for groups - request the private room in the back - especially if you need an early and quick pre-theater meal. Good for a mixed group (eg, kids/adults, meat-eaters/vegs) as you can customize.

Delicious Japanese bbq . My husband and I tried the meat menu with a good selection of meat, plus rice , miso soup & salad . The only problem, in my opinion, was the level of noisy inside the place.

Happy hour here is incredible. Can't beat half price beer and mixed drinks at the bar (and food after 10:30). Have only had food at the bar , but it's always delicious.

Get a free edamame with an fb checkin. Try the harami skirt steak , spicy pork , spicy tuna volcano . For dessert try the mochi ice-cream with 4 flavors of which green tea one's the best.

One of my favorite places to eat. Our waiter was so attentive. I recommend the meat combos - true to the sharing portions.

The spinach with garlic is so delicious. The ny strip and sirloin were both delicious. The shrimp & salmon was also very very good!! Service was phenomenal!

Place is amazing, little skeptical at first because you have to cook your own food but omg was everything delicious! Word to the wise the dinner for 2 deal is enough food for about 3-4 people!

Cooking tip: 30 seconds each side for the hangar steak for medium rare. Two minutes for the chicken and shrimp

The menu was affordable as is but we came during happy hour which made it even more worth it! The Kalbi short ribs and lamb chops were amazing

Come here for happy hour ! I liked the bistro hanger steak (tender). The New York strip steak was too tough. Pork belly is average (I like it at kbbq better)

Loved the pork belly , spicy pork , shrimp . Just be careful with the fire and you'll have an awesome meal.

Super tasty meat, great ramen and the small bbq in the middle of the table is fun and makes the experience different and interesting!

very interesting experience, a barbecue meal with lots of side dish and salad options, you can grill fish , meat or chicken , even vegetables . but be prepare to smell gross when you exit the rest.

I appreciate the “show” when the employees prepare the garlic fried rice here. This is the only Gyu-Kaku location that I’ve been to that does this.

Kalbi and spicy pork were the best. Shrimp and spinach/garlic were good too.

Really excellent happy hour lunch deal , on food and drinks. $6 for a huge bowl of noodles ! The eel bibimbap is fantastic.

Times square location is spacious and trendy looking. Good food. More included in their bbq packages. Lava cake good. layered green tea crepe was good/ok.

Get the shrimp with Shio sauce ~ miso skirt steak is yummy! Perfect for groups and couple. Love the spicy chigae ramen too!
