The parades are great. Get a viewing spot early (at least 45 to 60 minutes before start) though. Respect the staff . Can't be easy managing that many people (including all the crazy ones) daily.
Opened in 1971, this is the first park built at the Disney World resort . The park opened with 23 attractions . Only 3 were unique to the park , the rest were copies of Disneyland attractions .
Sit on the terras in front of the Plaza restaurant for an excellent view on the lightshow and the fireworks . Be sure to be there 1,5 hours before it begins. Look http://www.bit.ly/Magickingdom
Walk through the shops for a great finish to the day. Fun Fact: The building levels are all built at various heights to give the illusion of tall buildings. Ex. 10 ft, 8 ft, 6 ft, 4 ft.
To me this is the essence of the Magic Kingdom! Great views of the castle from here!
Best seat in the house for the 3pm parade is at Guest Services near the front gate. Practically empty and perfect for photos. It's where the parade begins. But get there early just in case.
skip gawking at the scenery on Main Street when you enter the park ... venture on and go to the back first for short lines . you can look at Main Street on the way out
Walking through the shops is a great way to start or end the day at Magic Kingdom. Everything is scaled, I believe it's 1- 5/8 – 1/2 scale. Truly a stunning visual feat from Disney Imagineers.
Make sure you get a good spot for the parade ! This is a good spot for everything, all the main shops are here, plus coffee and caseys corner for a quick bite !
Great shopping and photo opportunities . Good food to be found on the main drag.
If you're leaving at the same time as everyone else, cut through the emporium on your right-hand side. You can get the whole way down Main Street USA with less crowds and air-con. #win
The Silhouette artists on the right hand side as you head to the castle are real artists and provide a really personal and not expensive souvenier!
Duck down the side street on the right...some quiet seating and listen for the music and voice lessons from the studio above.
If you bought a memory Maker make sure you use it here this is where most of the photographers are.
At the beginning of the day when the park opens, run to the back of the park to the bigger rides. Family's with children will be overrunning fantasy land, giving you a chance to get a few rides in on
Incase you didn't know - the names on the buildings are the names Walt Disney used to buy land in Orlando for the parks and resorts .
Opened in 1971, this is the first park built at the Disney World resort . The park opened with 23 attractions . Only 3 were unique to the park , the rest were copies of Disneyland attractions .
Go halfway down Main Street and turn right on Center Street. Listen closely to the 2nd floor windows and you'll hear music lessons taking place.
Find the Dapper Dans, Main Street's Barbershop quartet . If you love harmony, ask if you can sing with them!
Stroller parked on Main St 40 m b4 parade facing Castle . bribery treats for good behavior 10:00pm fireworks Parade ended by 9:30pm Potty behind green tree . Real tree not a Disney tree .
Try the new bakery with Starbucks. The line looks long but it moves fast.
A section of Magic Kingdom. Love the feel of the area. Some really cool details in the area.
Be sure to try a new interactive game/experience that will show you the Magic Kingdom in a whole new way. To start, stop by the Fire Station

The bakery makes a killer ice cream sandwich - with warm cookies of your choice!
After fireworks , use the sidewalks for a faster exit. If using the monorail, while in line take the outside of the turns to avoid the pileup on the inside. Then cut across to the next outside turn.
Try a late lunch at Tony's Town Square on Main Street USA. You can sit in the atrium or patio to watch the parade . Great view and good food! Read more
The show they put on about believing dreams is fun to watch-- the first time. The other 46327956 times you hear/see gets harder to bear .
Get your picture taken by every Dinah photographer !
Don't miss the firehouse. The card game you start there is a highlight of the park .
If you want to eat anywhere in the magic kingdom they take reservations up to 6 months in advance. And if you want to eat in the castle ... well good luck
Check out new sorcerers of the magic kingdom interactive next to guest relations. So much fun! Defeat villians throughout the park .
Walk through the emporium if the main street is crowded or has a parade to get to the other end.
All the names that are on the windows are actually the names of the people who worked on the park . Also, if you find the window that says singing lessons you can hear a women singing!

Find the barber shop on main street. It's a quaint little hideaway. If you've got a little girl, she'll love the hair glitter. :)
