The food and wine are divine, just be patient: waiting for food is the way of life here, but oh so worth it. Also, sit at the bar and watch the waitstaff argue with one another. Dinner and a show.👻
Excellent traditional Sicilian . Family owned, great service. Polenta and Ragu were amazing.
Fun little Sicilian/American spot. Service was very friendly . Food was very good. I definitely recommend giving it a try and I look forward to coming back.
The food was excellent. Make sure you make a reservation before you go. The service was okay (bear in mind this must be a family-run business). Got salt for my coffee instead of sugar.
Very cozy atmosphere for dinner , and a good selection of wines . Vegetarian options are limited though. Try the fried eggplant appetizer , and the ravioli .
Amazing Sicilian cuisine ! eat all the seafood .
East Bay Express recommends Lo Sfincione. Oakland Magazine liked Bucatini Arriminatti
We especially loved the porcini mushroom ravioli !
Food is not outstanding. Had the lasagna , porchetta , and orecchiete, was not blown away by any if them. Burata was ok, carpaccio too. Not worth it too much given the $60 pp price tag.
The caponata agrodolce is absolutely delicious.
They have patio seating so you can bring your dog.
Don't come here if you're in a hurry. food is great but service is... entertaining lol
Food was pretty tasty, but the service is both slow and frenetic. Not a relaxing dinner experience.

Caponata Agrodolce
Slow service but really tasteful food!
Delicious meats and cheeses and homemade pasta! So good you ought to forgive the slightly grouchy service. - Daniel Grayson
From that same owner that brought us Desco in Oakland before they lost their lease. Similar modern Italian fare. Beautiful space. I liked the pork sugo with spinach fettuccine very much. - Brian Strauss
One of my favorite places in the east bay. It's a little funny to pay to play boardgames with your friends, but their selection is unbeatable and the staff is very helpful. - Kendal Cockrel
