One of the best italian restaurants in my book ! Try tagliatelle al sugo with a special house recepie passed down from the grandma generation. Extra fun if you get a bar seat next open kitchen !
The duck soup here is incredible, and the sword fish and the tagliatelle with beef and pork ragu were awesome too.
The $14.95 chicken entree was the cheapest on the menu but is incredible! I wanted to scrape all of the broth off the pan it was that good! And put together your own italian wine flights .
I may have to come and try this place again. 4 of us went out for a full meal and drinks and the only memorable thing was the cocktails
One of the best restaurants in Berkeley. Duck liver mousse and butter-roasted chicken breast are simply amazing.
Michael is an excellent bartender . Talk to him about your drink and let him use his skills on it. (Wine selection is good, too.)
I really enjoyed the eggplant ravioli as well as the squash blossom appetizer !
Try the Ravioli - Fava bean-ricotta filling, squash blossoms , brown butter , Parmigiano
Incredible butter chicken . But it's just the chicken so grab a side to split w someone cute .

Their winter veggies are a must, very delicate and flavorful.
Get the chicken breast cooked in brown butter . Try to not lick the hot pan, regardless of how tempting it may be.
Try the Crostini - Roasted spring garlic and olive oil
Try the Bistecca a la Fiorentina - #steak
Good food, the crowd was a little older than I expected
Pasta is tasty
Try the cavatelli
Custard dessert is delicious.
fresh pastas !
The pasta was good, but small sizes (by any country ’s standards) and a little overpriced
Try the Affogato
Petrale. Spinach .
The duck confit was amazing!
Excellent traditional Sicilian. Family owned, great service. Polenta and Ragu were amazing. - Nabeel Hyatt
One of the best restaurants in the area. Scallops, wild boar sausage, lasagna, or fig and prosciutto app, everything is well prepared and delicious. Service is quick; good wine list. - Amy Holtz
From that same owner that brought us Desco in Oakland before they lost their lease. Similar modern Italian fare. Beautiful space. I liked the pork sugo with spinach fettuccine very much. - Brian Strauss
very sophisticated, and at times subtle flavors, so be sure to take your time enjoying - Marius Kluenger
Great plays here- lots of new works. Get there early for a cocktail! - Chloe Condon
Enchanting venue for live music. Lovely scenery and great sound quality. - Chris
