If you don't want to wait then fucking leave. Otherwise grab a magazine, play on your phone, go have a cocktail & then get a great haircut from a talented barber when your name is called.
Ask for Rob. Best haircut I ever got in NYC. He is a perfectionist will make sure your haircut comes out flawlessly
As much as I loved this place and my barber , can't afford to spend an entire day waiting for a haircut . GET A RESERVATION SYSTEM please!!
Online reservations , check out their website. Great barbers , always happy.
Cozy spot with more availability than the Chelsea Market location. Don't forget cash for the tip.
Love/hate relationship here. Love Nelson & the barbers . Hate the old timey system. At least allow same day appts. Hire someone to make this happen, better yet- I'll do it for free.
Jerome was always able to get me in for a cut. Never had a bad experience with him, highly recommend him for your barbering needs.
Hugo is a legend here. Be adventurous and give him some room to be creative.
Jeff C is the best barber . Hands down. Go to him if you want a meticulous, precise and cleanest cut you've ever wanted.
Hugo is the best. Has been my go to barber for over 3 years.
Nelson is the man. Whether it's a clean-up or a full cut, he'll take his time and make sure the jobs done right.
Sammy's beard trims literally draw compliments from strangers for me--he's my go-to, but everyone here is top notch!
Just had an excellent haircut with Hugo. I nodded off as he conducted his methodical trim. When I woke up, he said, "I love it when people fall asleep--shows they're relaxed." I was.
Unfortunately Shorty the head barber and best barber in NYC left to open his own shop in San Francisco. Go for Mike and Hugo for a solid cut.
If you don't want to wait call Tavern on Jane and ask for a dude named Nector to put your name down for you in exchange for a tip.
Hugo is (was) the best barber this place ever had. Unfortunately it was a great shop when started as FSC Barbers but changed a lot over time and now it is way overpriced for the poor service it has.
Supa hip ! Pretty good prices for good haircuts . Nice vibe.
Robin gave me the best haircut I've ever had and also had some solid tips for styling at home.
Come see Robin the left handed barber . It will amaze you the skill of a right hand on the opposite side!!!!
If you have straight, thick hair (like me), Jeff is the guy to see.
Amanda gives the best razor cuts. Always worth the wait!
Ask for Hugo! Great trim and haircut ! Worth the 30 min wait.
Perfect old school style barber shop . Cuts are 40. Gets slammed on Saturdays.
Richest gave me a great cut! I have pretty thick Asian hair
Absolutely worth the price and the wait times.
Ask for Lindsey. She's new here but works magic with your hair
Carlos is my man. Sidenote: gotta love the diversity of these tips. You just can't go wrong.
Ask for Robert - great cut
Nelson is my go to. He looks like Cerrano from Major League.
The barber shop where every patron who walks in looks like they just had a hair cut .
They don't take appointments, but call ahead and add your name to the list. They'll give you a rough estimate on the wait... Sammy is my go-to.
If you guys want to know where Hugo is now, just send me a message.

Tim is the man. Shorty is great too. Shave and a haircut will straighten you out good.
Tim gives an awesome cut and drops truth bombs.
New favorite: ask for Francine. She's great.
Always crowded , but always a quality trim.
Hugo top class for a great cut and conversation - highly recommended
No matter what time or day you stop in, you'll wait at least 45 minutes.
The wait is worth it at this place.
Eileen is a wizard
Arthur = genius
Thorin and Lindsay are the best!
Worth the wait and price.
Hugo is the man. Older guy. He's got good stories and very sure hands.
Hugo is the man
Tim for short and tight looks. Nelson for beard trims and long hair.
Richie is the best!
No reservations so try to avoid Fri, Sat, Sun if you can
Very below average cuts. It's like a hipster version of Supercuts. But with attitude.
First time today - great online appointment page; Andrew is nice, hot and does a great job! And you get a free shot of whiskey. What more could you ask for? - Stan Maszczak
Followed my barber here from Fellow. Gorgeous new shop both stylish and old school. Check it out. - P. D.
Excellent service and very reasonable pricing for top-notch work. Walked in looking shabby, and walked out looking and feeling pretty damn incredible. - Steven Eggleston
In addition to great coffee & the normal coffee shop pastry fare, they have oatmeal for breakfast and grilled cheeses for lunch. Including gluten-free options :) - Emily Cox
