The largest valley on the island , Waipio is an impressive sight. You can catch views of waterfalls and the black sand beach from here. Only 4x4 vehicles and strong hikers are allowed down the road .
You can park on the street before the lookout , just be mindful of residents and others who want to see the valley . Great place for pictures!
Be prepared for a long walk when going to see the waterfall or black sand beach .

Stop at "Simple & Natural" in Kukuihaele for a bite. Charming and SO delicious.
