My favorite place for coffee in stl hands down. Awesome Colorado-like atmosphere/interior. Amazing coffee with ???????? seasonals and a full breakfast menu . And right on the corner to people watch .
In most recent few months, the service has improved and I've been able to order a banana chocolate peanut butter milkshake and it tasted amazing! I will keep coming back just for that!
Order your basic turkey-cheese-greens panini or wrap via a moniker like the Telluride, the Yukon or the Durango . Try the organic chocolates or, in winter, treat yourself to the Mexican hot chocolate . Read more
This place is usually crowded with Wash U students but if you find a spot, the ambience is great. Great Kaldi's coffee too.
My old tip can be partially discounted , as I was a mocha drinker at that time. Since then, I've grown to enjoy coffee , and have found that I like the Kaldi's at Kayak 's more than the old Alterra .
Very friendly staff ! I love their large selection of tea !
Great place for Kaldi's coffee and an interesting breakfast and lunch menu adjacent to the Washington University campus and Skinker Metrolink station
Bring plenty of quarters for the metered parking lot behind the building even on the weekends...they require feeding 24/7. Food - try the Cortina sandwich or Durango wrap . Both are great!
The breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel was fantastic. Also good Kaldi coffee .
Vegetarian seal of approval! Cortina sandwich (marinated portabellas )
Food is good, nice selection. Coffee is Kaldis which I enjoy. There is not much room to sit. A few 2-3 person tables which are occupied by college students who sit for hours.
This place would be more accessible to non-Wash U students if the parking situation were better. The meters in the lot are enforced 24/7, so prepare for a possible ticket.
Always full of Wash U students . I would recommend Blueprint down the street or Comet in Brentwood if you're looking to stay somewhere a while.
Contrary to what's on here, I think Kayak 's has definitely had an upswing now that it's under Kaldi's. Try the Chemex for a smoother coffee and some great sandwiches like the Aspen - light and healthy
The breakfast options are amazing. Especially the egg bagel
The traditional cappuccino might be the absolute best way to sample the coffee of the month.
Not sure what all the hype is about... Staff are annoyed, customers are loud , weird set up to order/pick-up. I felt very tense in the super sunny interior without shades. Get all to go and get out!
Toasted wraps with side of fruit are always great
Great coffee and toasted sandwiches
Khaldi’s coffee
This place is a staple for me. Try the chai , it's delicious.
Get the table by the fire place in the back! It has comfy chairs . Also get some coffee !!
Try the Ethiopian dama yirgocheffe - the November espresso of the month. Great in a traditional latte , capp , or macchiato !
Try their "World Tour " rotating single origin . It can be a delightful treat, especially brewed as espresso .
Try the "dirty " chai by adding a shot of espresso . Delicious!
great coffee , teas , and paninis .
Vanilla latte was just right, not too sweet.
They don't do free refills, so ask for coffee in a paper cup so you can keep it warm with a lid. Refills are available for about a buck.
Per Don K., the Alterra served at kayak gave them a very different flavor than any other coffee shop in St. Louis. I like kaldi's coffee , but for my girlfriend they changed for the worse.
Every omelet is delicious every time.
It's overpriced and there are often condescending workers, like many cafes in St. Louis. Unlike other cafes , however, the men's bathroom in Kayak 's has a black toilet , so enjoy that.
Great atmosphere, okay Coffee . I tried the Gibraltar. It wasn't impressive but drinkable.
Honey wheat bagel is sooo good. Get with butter not cream cheese ( coming from a cream cheese fanatic)
French toast & Northwoods salad are both great. So is the coffee
Order the Mayan Mocha . Always.
Good coffee , light fare
Love their PB&J with a big cup of Joe.
The pumpkin pie latte is glorious! Try it while it's still in season
Great coffee and pastries .
It is Kaldi’s Coffee Company now!
Nice place, but too crowded on the Saturday.
The best sandwiches .
Metered parking in back.
Kaldi's Coffee and great folks
Each time I get carry out (cold wrap ) my order seems to get longer. Shouldn't have to put 30 min on the meter.
Coffee is amazing
The new Zurich sandwich is really good.
Pick up a sarah speaks easy fanpack from the front window for 4 free pageant tickets and a bumper sticker!
It’s Kaldi’s coffee company
Try the new Rwandan espresso - October's World Tour Coffee ! Tangy and bright !
Beautiful wood windows give a peaceful relaxation a true comfort plus great coffee. - Socialslave
Breakfast flatbread is amazing but huge. Definitely shareable! - Sarah Richardson
Great coffee shop. WiFi works well and there's plenty of places to sit. - Joseph B.
Best place for dogs to run around, no matter if you want flat land, hills or a lake for your dog. Just bring a drinking water when you and your dog get tired or hit the Boat House for good food. - Krazy For Pets
Every Sunday all year round there is family fun and free crafts for kids 1:00-4:00. - Sarah Rennie
Wonderful zoo! Excellent exhibits with very content animals. The views of the animals are amazing, and the educational signage is very informative. - Anne W
