We went there for brunch and had a traditional Hawaiian Loco Moco . It literally melted in my mouth! It was amazing. Mai Tai with lilikoi foam was also delicious! Its a must in Maui.
Make sure you drop in for happy hour , 3:00pm - 4:49pm daily. Mai Tai 's are $6 and may be the best Mai Tai you'll ever have. Bring a camera ; the patio has one of the greatest ocean views in the world.
I scoured Maui for the best rum selection , expert mixology—& found bar mgr. Jeff Groh's macadamia nut orgeat Mai Tais , hand shaken Mojitos , classic El Presidentes & the greatest rum list in all of HI.
There’s the rare dinner experience that is so delicious, so perfect, that it actually feels very emotional. That was my dinner at Merriman’s tonight—one of the top ten of my life. Try the Mahi & purse !
Spectacular views . Sits high on a point between Napili and Kapalua bays . Perfect spot for a sunset dinner . Great food and happy hour . Really nice outdoor seating area . Read more
We had Sunday Brunch which was fantastic! Everything was very fresh. Especially loved the bacon and potatoes that came with the Classic breakfast. The view is amazing. We loved the whole experience
Growing up on Hawaii Island , I always enjoyed going to Merriman's. Always a fantastic meal. But at this location, the views alone from the restaurant are worthy of a visit!
This is definitely a place to eat your vegetables : spinach from Honopua Farm , stunning, deeply red Lokelani tomatoes , and corn , simply grilled, from Nakano Farms . Read more
Sit at the Patio , keep getting the Original Mai Tai while you watch the sunset , close it out with the chow fun noodles - they are spectacular ???? + ???? + ???? = ????????
This is a true gem on a beautiful peninsula. Love the atmosphere and the food. Monchung, ribeye , lobster salad are excellent. Mai Tai wins every award. Only the beer sucks.
Delicious local food. Highly recommend the daily catch- changes everyday! We went for our anniversary and at the end of our meal they brought us the nicest dessert !
With so many tempting creations, consider the duo option, which features two smaller-size entrées on one plate. You can’t go wrong with the macadamia nut–crusted monchong or roasted Jidori chicken . Read more
Make sure to reserve a time with a sunset ! (but book early though as reservations open 1 month out and sell out quickly!)
Great brunch . The bloody merriman is like alcoholic gazpacho , the mai tai has passionfruit foam on top, the malasadas are made to order, and "the cure" ramen is ????
Probably among the best food you're going to find on the island . Not everything was perfect but the tom salad and the scallops come close.
The Filet is outstanding. It's served with whipped potatoes , savoy cabbage and this amazing mustard brown butter emulsion. Amazingly delicious entree.
Don't worry if the restaurant is booked . There is an incredible, informal deck area at the back for drinks and a limited but awesome menu. Incredible ocean views .
Ate here for a wedding - had the asparagus soup , the beet salad , and an amazing ribeye steak . The whole meal was fantastic, and so was the service and live music !
Marisa may trick you into ordering non Happy Hour drinks . I was eyeing the $5 well drinks & asked for something bourbon based. She suggested the Molokai Mule, which ended up being 3x as much.
Kampachi (fish ) is amazing. Na ko oi (cocktail ) heavenly. But you can't beat the setting!!
The mahi mahi is excellent- but get it prepared the way the mongchong is on the menu! Poke salad is amazing, as is the pork quesadilla !
Mai Tai , Shrimp and Pork Chow Fun Noodles and Harissa Spiced Scallops & Wild Shrimp !
The best fining we have found so far. Excellent meat and seafood and a great view of the surf.
Beautiful spot for sunset cocktails - I loved the No ka Oi. This place is beyond words! Food+views A++++
Good pupus and awesome sunset view from the patio . Make reservations if you want to be in the dining room
Stunning views , impeccable service , outstanding menu.
To all Parrotheads, this is Louie's Backyard of the Pacific. To the rest of you, this is a great place to hang, have a drink and watch the sunset .
Great happy hour (3-5pm) - Mai Tais are $9, beer is $4, and wine is 25% off. And the views !
Everything was great from service to the food and drinks! Highly recommend
Head to the outdoor wine bar for a beautiful sunset happy hour . The Pupu taster and their Original Mai Tai 's are the perfect combination.
The setting is breathtaking and the cuisines matches.
The view from the outside wine bar is wonderful. Get there early for a good seat.
Request JJ. He's the most knowledgable , considerate & awesome server I've ever encountered. Follow his recommendations! - Taylor Stoffers

great place from which to watch a sunset while enjoying an excellent dinner !
I will return to Hawaii just to get the chocolate purse . A must for anyone who loves (or likes) chocolate .
Excellent cocktails and great food! The views are gorgeous too.
They open at 3 pm for happy hour . If you want a front row seat for the sunset , best arrive by 4 pm or earlier.
Run by Peter Merriman, one of the leaders of Hawaii regional cuisine, a culinary movement that blends international flavors with local ingredients . * Expensive!
good for a sunset drink outside - hit one of the local beers
Come for the food and sunset , stay for the amazing fire pit . Enjoy some drinks on the patio while relaxing with friends.
The chocolate purse was life changing, I’m still thinking about it, I might never stop.
Amazing venue, food and service! The lamb was excellent.
Watch the sunset over cocktails from the deck. Appetizer: kalua pork quesadilla . For dinner try the lamb (a tad gamey, but phenomenal). Dessert : chocolate purse .
The food is the best. Sunset views top it all off.
Come for sunset ! The view is amazing! Also do the duo entree if you can't decide on one thing to eat! Great deal! Wonderful meal!
Ask for a quiet table when you make your reservation , or you may get stuck in front of the band unable to hear your waiter and friends.
Good tasting menu with good cocktails .
You MUST try the lamb . There's nothing like it and it was by far the best dish I've ever eaten.
Overhyped, under flavored. Doesn’t help that they don’t even offer takeout . Seems like a business the pandemic should rightfully claim. Hope it goes under and is replaced with something actually good.
Great view! Try the huevos rancheros! Chilaquiles are good and spicy! - Erica Gonzalez
What a great burger I got. Bacon blue cheese and more! Yum???????? - Amy Beeson
