Food is good, yet, they never ever get the order right in al of the times I have been coming here. Not to mention the food always comes out of the kitchen at random times. Love the people and food
The second outpost of Troy MacLarty 's Indian street-food spot has debuted on SE Division, flaunting a major seating upgrade and small retail space selling Indian spice mixes and ingredients. Read more
The Kati roll is the unofficial signature dish of this restaurant , specializing in Indian street food .
Love this place, food is awesome. There is little service in the place but the ambience is wonderful. This was my first trip to their new place
Great Indian food , overall not super spicy for the noobies. Great atmosphere among all things. If you're super hungry get the one of the Thali meals. Definitely the instagramy dish.
Fast, inexpensive and delicious. The chaat was awesome. Curries are great, and the wine / beer list is solid. Wash it all down with some wine .
Most enjoyable meal I had in Portland. Fresh n tasty dishes - fried okra is amazing! - and fun friendly venue.
Plates are small so good for sharing. Gobi manchurian is amazing-basically fried cauliflower in sweet & sour sauce . SO GOOD.
Vada Pav , Papri Chaat and the Crispy Okra are amazing! Pav Bhaji is ok but I'm a Bombay guy and picky about that! Avoid the thali and Kati roll .
I could eat the Bhel Puri and Pork Vindaloo everyday. When the food comes out hot, it's unreal
Pork vindaloo , okra , and chaat were great. Gobi and Kati rolls were sub par. I'm appalled at Troy MacLarty 's claim that he saved me a trip to India (from his bio). Blech.
Small plates are the best! Get some food to share and you can't go wrong.
Kathi roll with beef was phenomenal. They also have different chilies to be added on the side.
The Kati roll is like an Indian burrito with paneer cheese . The Chicken curry meal is big, but well worth the upgrade.
Pork vindaloo is quite authentic ,enjoyed it with rice . But why are pork pieces so big ????. Was impressed by their version of Papdi chat; beware its spicy .
Everything I've eaten here so far has been tasty. My favorites are the vada pav and paneer makhani.
The food is good and true. Not as spicy as you would get in India but the essential flavors are there. Vada pav !
Get the paneer kati roll - so delicious!
the chicken curry was tender and delicious, and the pav bhaji made me feel like I was back in Mumbai.
I'm not a vegetarian but this place can definitely make me become one. Love their spices and food textures.
Plenty of seating, really good food. I haven't had a bad thing there.
Sweet potato chaat is where it's at. I especially liked the herbs and crunchy lentils .
Funky and beautiful atmosphere. Try the beet appetizer !
Flavorful and light dishes. The bhel puri and kati rolls are both great.
Potato cakes , chickpeas , and a side of naan .
Delicious food. Not terribly spicy but they have some condiments you can add to boost the heat!
Pav bhaji , dahi sev puri , bhel puri , paratha , chai .
The samosas are so good!
Nothing here is spicy enough to be authentic (ahem white people), but you can get some hot sauces near the water and bussing station
Kati roll chicken . My god. Would move countries for this roll
Great place for vegan ! Great drinks... Love the outdoor seating !
The beets ! The okra !
Mango Lassi is great. Awesome chutney fabulous shrimp
Great indian street food if you like indian tastes and flavors.
Potato burger , samosas
Fun atmosphere with casual Indian dishes .
Definitely try the iced chai and samosas !
Great service & the food is bursting with flavor!
Vada pav , coconut shrimp curry
Beef Kati rolls , pork vindaloo
The gobi manchurian is super salty but the pav bhaji is good!
Lamb Samosas , Pork Vindaloo

Everything!
Amazing food
Dal, Ginger Lime Soda , Chai
The pork vindaloo was legit
The interior is great but Very very overrated food. We ordered six dishes from the menu and they were all terrible. The long wait for such food is ridiculous!
Kati roll , marry me
Really don’t get what all the hype is about
Dinner buffet had tons of variety! Worth the higher price. Chicken masala was superb. - Rachel Grahn
My long time favorite Indian cuisine in Portland, especially chicken and vegetarian dishes. Try the sweet naan with anything spicy. - Andrea Purvine-Riley
Creative ice cream flavors with seasonal options. Feel free try as many flavors as you want. - drew tarvin
I’m so glad we didn’t stand in the line for Salt & Straw. This was perfect for me- salty chocolate sesame w/ almond toffee and Nutella case ❤️ - Maaham Aziz
