This was a great find!!! The food very fresh . Service was super nice. They let us try a sample of a soup . Delicious! I had the pulled pork ... Seasoned to perfection and very moist yum!

When on special the Turkey Burger is fantastic! Sub honey mustard for mayo , add swiss cheese and add some double smoked bacon and its the bomb!!!

I over the food in this place and a good vegetarian menu for you veggies out there... Organic foods from the market ... And great soups ... Perfect for a Saturday morning breakfast with the familyAlso

if the hot smoked turkey popeye is on special, put your phone down and order it immediately. then thank whichever god you pray to because lawdy!

Best place in Detroit for breakfast . Wait in line it is worth it! And don't be afraid of the communal seating it is all part of the experience.

The seating arrangement is a little awkward but the food is so good you almost don't notice. Must get the Slim Charles!!

Avacado melt. Cool little place in Eastern Market .

I have an addiction to the Avocado Melt but all of the sandwiches are good (and Scooby Doo-sized).

The soups are outstanding, especially on a rainy chilly day

The best vegan burger ever! It's actually one of the best burgers I've ever had, vegan or meat.

The Dinty Moore is quite a tasty sandwich experience!

The grilled vegetable sandwich and well done home fries are sooooo good

The crushed lentil and tuna melt was excellent!

Try the Rhode Island clam chowder . It's amazing.

Again, go early or don't bother. This place is packed even when the Farmer's Market it not in session. Locally grown ingredients, ever changing menu and an incredible selection.

The Hungarian green bean soup was incredible!

Loved the blackeyed pea soup & grilled chicken sandwich ! The brownies are good too!

Try the New England Clam Chowder , it's the best I've ever had.

Soups are great, breakfasts are great; nice selection of bread options adds to the appeal.

Don't be afraid of a line . Staple is the corned beef hash unless distracted by one of the specials.

Don't sit by the window. You'll never get service.

Corned beef all the way is insanely good! The hot pastrami is great, but request light on the mustard or get it on the side.

Food was good after they fixed their mistakes, but they didn't offer a discount . I will never be back.

Every time I come here, I am reminded why I don't make it a habbit! The staff is rude and always in a hurry. Food is good, but not worth my money for the aggrivation.
