There's a picnic area at the back of the dinosaur exhibit . Just head down the blue corridor near the main stairs.
Large museum spread across many floors. We saw China’s First Emperor and Terracotta Army exhibition . Well worth a visit on a rainy day.
Yummy soup ! Sad to see the level 5 cafe no longer open however loads of good hot options available on the ground floor...❤️d the scouse
Lots to see, popular with families. Fantastic display of clocks.
Great day out with the kids and is completely free. Wheelchair and pram access is good even on a busy day
Very busy in last week of summer term and during half terms but definitely worth a visit. My favourite exhibit is Ancient Egypt
Has in parts more to offer than the British museum (Africa, Oceania...) and will make me come back to Liverpool
One of the best places to visit in Liverpool, vast collection of ancient civilization stuff
A wide range of displays, the fish were good, although minimal.
Lovely jacket potato in the 5th floor cafe . Great views of the city as well .
Great exhibition on AI. Interactive and fascinating ????
Try and visit in the middle of school terms. Schools usually plan visits in the last week of term so it's busier at these times
Get here before 1:00pm to reserve your free tickets to the Planetarium shows.
Brilliant place. Well worth a visit
The world cultures' floor was my fave
A nice museum with lots of stuff. Just a little too much targeted at children for my liking though.
Lots to see. A great day out.
I hate the lifts here. Great, otherwise.
Terracotta Warriors are there until October - a must see
Wouldn't it be sensible in this day and age to have WiFi access in all museums ?

Good few hours fun entertaining the kids

The Planetarium is well worth a visit.
Some things aimed at kids so VERY busy during the half-term
Closes at 4.50, not 5!
Brilliant. Lots of random stuff all thrown together.
The World in one museum ...
Give the restaurant on the 5th floor a miss, the food is horrible. Avoid at all costs. The Museum is amazing though.
The Planetarium ...

Best for shopping and restaurants. You won't be disappointed. Although not as varied and big as Trafford, you won't queue for 2 hours to get in and out with more opportunity to actually SHOP ???? - Jon Stodd
