Fried fish is excellent, and the buttery bread and potato appetizer
One of my favorite restaurants . Been a few times. If you're looking for basic and typical Indian food this is not for you. Beautiful atmosphere, great food and great customer service!
Cool vibe, beautiful bar decor, delicious and unique cocktails , and professional service . The food is creative but on the spicier side.
Prawns were a highlight but everything was good. They don’t mince on the spice so make sure to get some Raina.
The Champaran Meat is unreal. It will tast different with rice vs paratha vs roti vs pav. Try them all!
Chicken paulou, ragda pattice, prawns , lamb ribs , Champaran Meat , goat biryani , paratha
Incredible mutton and chicken pulao and paneer . Below average dessert . Overall unreal meal - best Indian in NYC. 9.5/10
An explosion of flavors. Paneer tikka and fish fry are to die for.
Best Indian I’ve had in the city .
The methi paneer is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, a must try
We got papdi chaat , paneer , lamb ribs , champaran meat and the chicken pulao . Everything is fine but nothing special, quite greasy too. Not worth the hype/price.
Food was very good as per Adda. Cocktails not strong enough. Location inside Essex Market def a bit odd. Def $5-10 more expensive than Adda too—just go there…?
The crab coconut rice
The Interpretations of Indian village food are amazing. Don’t miss the weekly cocktails & definitely don’t skip dessert !
Arrogant and terrible service… Hit & Miss food … hallmark of Chef Pandya… great ingredients but meh execution… way too expensive for the below average experience
Sigdiwala Chicken , Pressure Cooker Chicken Pulao .
Chef won 2022 James Beard “best chef : NY State ”
Slow service… super spicy … good ingredients
Team dinners be like
Champaran meat >>>
Overpriced and hyped … service sucks.., food is meh
Incredibly overrated in my opinion
Honestly, just okay for the price.
Loud music , spotty service, greasy, undefined flavors, tacky and cheap interior.
This shop is the best bang for your buck coffee in the city ($2.50 for a large drip, plus a buy 5 get one free stamp card= ~$2.10/lg cup of coffee) - Gregory Fisher
Love everything I’ve tried here. I like the baguette sandwiches (ham and turkey so far 👌🏼) and then the almond or ham and gruyere croissants are yummy. I also love that they sell half loaves! - Jenny Ung
The Tupelo pancakes hit the spot for my salty/sweet craving. Thick cut bacon and peanut butter sandwiched between two fluffy and sweet banana pancakes. - Salvador
loved the snails, gunpowder dosa, uttapam, meen polichattu, lobster moilee, and shahi tukda; would skip the cauliflower next time. great drinks bangalore days, aiyo with a tamarind candy, whistle podu - Sheen
Good place to hang out esp during cold weather. All the excellent options under one roof. From starters to dessert. - Alyssa B.
Great cocktails and a low key vibe. Was there on a random Monday and they had a live jazz band and serious dancing. Legit - Bob Gearing
