The menu features local, seasonal specials but the standards like Deviled Eggs , Gumbo and the decadent Fries with Béarnaise are always great choices. [Eater 18 Member]
O.M.G. Catfish sandwich was heaven, the shrimp toast was so delicious, collard greens were smoky delicious, and the blue crab rice was just amazing! The ultimate g&t was the perfect drink too

The Brussel sprouts (pictured) are amazing and so was the shrimp & grits . Yum! Definitely going back. Also, on Monday’s, bottles of wine are half off.
Our party of four coworkers decided it was the best meal of our life. We live in Michigan. If e are able to choose out last meal it would be at the glass onion. OMG. Best. Meal. Ever.
Everything was fantastic. Shells and cheese . Fried quail with buttermilk and honey . Salmon and butter bean salad . Chocolate and pecan tart served with local ice cream ( wholly cow? ). Wow. Thanks!
All the classics are good, especially impressed with them splitting an entree for my wife and I into two separate plates without us even asking! Excellent service
Instead of the typical frying method, The Glass Onion's chicken is baked in a pan of hot oil . The confit technique leaves the chicken leg thoroughly cooked before being seared on both sides. Read more
Try the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese app. It can be a full meal by itself!

Shells & Cheese + Catfish ! Yum!!! Way too much, but can there ever be too much deliciousness?! Must do!
Great food - my husband said his mint julep was more of a whiskey sour though
The biscuits are like eating cloud bread . Oh, and the sweet potato hash is amazing!
Pork loin po boy was more of a trumped up ham sandwich . Tasty enough but not nearly as good as the fried quail - that's a definite winner.
Doing the pick 4 on the sides is more than enough of a meal for most people, but don't pass on a deviled egg or two beforehand!
Save room for peach cobbler a la mode and bread pudding with whiskey sauce ! Ps-1/2 price bottles of wine on Monday!
Try the Side Salad - Basic local greens and veggies . Love their incorporation of pickled okra and haricot vert .
Crispy chicken leg with mashed taters & braised collards . Mmm! Get the homemade pickles & make friends w/ Crystal sauce.
The pork chops , duck liver dirty rice with pickled peppers is delish!!
Cross your fingers that the Chicken Liver Po Boy is a special!
If you are a pimento cheese person, get it! Mmmm. So cheesy, toasty , and comfy on a cool rainy day.
Get the shells and cheese if it's available. You won't regret it.
Try the Caramel Pie - The crust was the best part, IMHO. The pie itself was the second best.
Fried Chicken dinner night, call ahead - it's amazing!
Try the Homemade Peppermint Ice Cream - Loved the bits of candy ! A bowl of heaven!
