Excellent coffee and cake . Just what you need after a run on the common. Contrary to other reviews they DO take cards - £10 minimum.
Breakfasts are excellent, as are the cakes . Coffee not outstanding but still pretty good. Staff very helpful. Good vibe
Very pleasant little place in the middle of the common. Great view of the mill , too. They do main courses as well as teas - come for breakfast or lunch !
Coffee , banana bread . The time on Saturday mornings when the Nordic Walkers leave, and the Parkrunners come in.
The Christmas fruit cake is really amazing right now.
This cafe could be more special than it is...! It's got a lovely location and a captive audience, but it lacks soul. More caff than tea room .
Good stop after you've a run or a walk in the common.
Cute cafe , homemade scones .
There is free wifi , and it is possible to work here, though I felt a little self-conscious.
Chaotic service, offer wifi but don't take cards. What on earth they're thinking in 2015 by not taking cards staggers me. It's not like they don't cater for lunch crowds and so-on. Captive market eh?
Fantastic home made cakes and real chips . Little pricy though
A beautiful setting but lacking soul. Even my friends 10 year old son noticed the dysfunctional atmosphere amongst the staff !
Lovely fruit home made cake
Lovely cafe - shame about the cake
excellent full English
Meet other parents here on Tuesdays at 1.30pm for an NCT walk.
Can't decide between tea or coffee , worry not. They taste the same here
egg and bacon sandwiches to die for!
Very decent plum crumble! Outdoor seating area is fine, but yes, the indoor area is tired.
A canteen rather than a cafe . Food is ok but nothing special. Oh, and they don't accept cards !
30 minutes wait for a chicken pesto sandwich and no apology. They're 'busy'. Don't come here hungry ..
Home made cakes are good
Decent Sunday carvery for less than £10 - book a table as it gets busy. - Nicole Mezzasalma
Good food and drinks, very cozy place. There's a kiddie corner too! - Edwin Tan
Nice and huge part for a walk. Very muddy though so be equipped if it's rained recently. There's a Windmill Museum and a nice cafe inside for breaks - Bernat Ràfales
Proper road terrain for cycling. Lots of hills. Fantastic park for exercise. - Alis
Very interesting little museum, inside the historical artefact itself. Go there. Well worth the more entry price. - Liam Proven
