I'm a native who loves a basin , and I'm not alone. Montezuma is my favorite area here. Smallest distance from parking to lift anywhere! Cookout with your grill and chill all day, love a bay !!!!

Just may be my most favorite mountain . Get here early so you can park close. The Montezuma Bowl is a must do but it’s FAST!

Columbine on the back has to be my favorite blue slope . I haven't been able to come that much in the winter but its amazing now and it's Memorial Day weekend so I can't imagine how it is in the winter

The best day possible at the Basin is arriving early and getting a spot on the beach for cooking out and hanging. Hit the terrain hard in the morning, then party in the afternoon.

Days b4 aBasin opens yearly they sell 300 glass personal beer mugs and sell out b4 they open -- the bar is being re-done and the upped the amount to 500 this year! Today there were still a few left!!

They opened Timber Glades today. Great skiing , still knee-deep stashes. Enter from PallavIcini west side.

Locals mountain ... Very few beginners runs. Lines off Palli can match any other CO mountain !
