Go to the Kickapoo Tavern in the main village . It's to the left if you are on your way to the gondola . Really good food for a fair price .
Keystone is awesome; beautiful spot but also popular for families. Be ready for long lines and lots of little ones on the Greens

Go night skiing certain holidays and Friday/Sat after January. Great fun, and included in a season pass if skiing at Breck or close by. Check online for which days it is open.

For a big backcountry mission, hike and ski the Silver Couloir on Buffalo Peak in Silverthorne, just down the road from Keystone. Bring your avy gear and the savvy to use it.

Full of Texans, icy at the end of the day. Get out to Outback as quickly as possible, shred bowls/trees until they stop the chair.
If you have kids. Use the wagons. Makes life tons easier transporting kids and gear to and from the car and the lifts.
If you're learning to snowboard get a lesson and save yourself a lot of pain. Ask for Rich Wedlake or Scott Grow when you reserve your lesson.

generally I find Keystone overcrowded and icy, but paymaster, prospector, and the outback are usually pretty good
Not the best skiing area for beginners. Everyone is friendly , but everyone knows more than you if you're a beginner. Green area are steep! Don't be fooled.
There is free close-in parking at the Pika lot on the East side of the Mountain House Base Area. Come early because it fills up quick.
