The food is so much better with new chef . It’s pub grub - burgers & ribs but it’s good pub grub , esp chicken burger and oh year the ribs . Good week night deals. Can’t say enough what an improvement!
Nice range of beers with a vegetarian friendly food menu. The Mac and Cheese is so cheesy! Avoid the breaded chicken burger - thin, could have come from the freezer
On Walthalmstow mkt, hip but not hipster , self selecting but not exclusive. Great staff and big food. And of course a wide selection of drinks.

New owners post-Antic seem to have kept everything as it was , but early days. Currently very child-friendly (colouring books provided) and dog-friendly (dog biccies provided!).
Lively , very busy on the Sunday we went, loud live music , hipster parents and kids everywhere. Friendly staff . Seemed like the only decent place for a pint in the area.
Walthamstow's best pub in my opinion - quite hipstery but not overly so! Lots of space and a good atmosphere.
