The way the lake welcomes you at the top is beautiful. Pretty diverse scenery the way up (even saw a deer!) We also followed the wrong trail a few times so just keep an eye out on your colored trail !
Good for winter hike as most part is in valley. And the lake at the end of trail is beautiful.
Very good rocks/trees. A+ mushrooms . Easy to get lost.
Nice stroll from the beach ake to boating lake
Cliff jumping within an hour of Manhattan! Watch out for snapping turtles .
