Torchy's Tacos

Get the Independent. Don't assume this is a suggestion. It's a COMMAND. It is the most incredible taco anyone anywhere has ever eaten.

It all started right here in a food truck . Every Torchy's location is great, but there is something special about being where it all started. The queso is a little richer at this one!

???? ???? forever! They're all amazing & so good! Would also recommend you order the queso . Corn tacos are better than flour!

Fried avocado taco (make it trashy ), off the cob street corn , queso , and a Topo Chico. Best food in the world.

No matter what you do- order your food for there. If you get it to go, they'll give you less. If you order to stay, they'll "hook you up" so much so that you'll have to use utensils to eat.

This Torchy's location has a tiny dining room, but the patio is lovely when the weather cooperates. Happy taco time!

This is one of my favorite Torchys because it really represents how far the brand has Coke . Parking sucks, but the matador taco doesn't!

Must try the Baja shrimp taco ! If your vegetarian they have lots of options... Try the one with portobello mushrooms ... Amazing!

Chips and queso was very good. The brushfire, while quite spicy , is very good.

Queso was old & chips were stale and cost about $7! The place was packed w/single guys alone sporting the Unibomber fashion line & zz top beard- all reeked of BO. Deodorant ban in Austin? Creepy. No!

The Brushfire is an amazing taco if you are looking for something that will surprise you. The mango and jerk chicken go together PERFECTLY!

Not impressed by the Grande Burrito ; too many flavors/sauces trying to compete with each other. Torchy's does tacos best. Try the Trailer Park , extra trashy !

Eat outside. Thus location inside always smells like cleaner and they will mop under your feet as you eat. Good tacos but weird spot.

They've added a few new tacos to the menu along with a whole new look to the menu.

Some taco combinations are better then others. I also found the fried avocado taco (highly recommended by other comments) to be overrated.
