If you have a taste for wacky sweets, you must be one of the legions of fans of these off-the-wall doughnuts , featuring fillings and toppings from crushed candy bars to fried chicken strips and bacon . Read more
Cherry bomb donut bites were out of this world. Make sure to have something to drink with them and share them with someone because they are very filling!
Gigantic donuts drowned in sauce and toppings. One of the best things I've ever tried. Do opt for the ones with a cream cheese icing and not the chocolate icing because it can get really sweet.
Ah-MAZING. Granny's pie is so delicious! Can't wait to try the other flavors. The food truck is cute and quirky, be prepared for a little bit of a wait usually.
Scrumptious! We had the pb&j, Elvis, and granny and they were all out of this world. So many fancy donut spots focus on fillings, but I love that they focus on toppings for a perfect yeast donut !
In the North doughnuts are considered breakfast food ; not so in Austin, where doughnuts are clearly dessert ! Can't decide? Order the Miss Shortcake and Naughty and Nice and wait for a sugar rush!
With baked goods as unique as Austin itself, this little specialty shop doles out some of the most lavish and indulgent doughnuts you may ever encounter. We recommend the PB&J and the Mother Clucker .
Best donuts I've ever had! Please note they're hugeee, so definitely share. Son of a Peach & Miss Shortcake were both tasty, and the fresh strawberries balanced out the richness of the donut .
Everything on the menu looks and sounds unbelievably delicious... we got the heath bar donut to share and it was orgasmic, omg, so tasty and mouthwatering!!!
This Austin-based food truck sells its top-notch treats from a vintage trailer. The toppings include everything from jalapeño and grilled strawberries to fried chicken strips . Read more
Sugar overload, but delicious! If you love sweets, get one for yourself, if not pick one to share. Bring a cup of tea or coffee .
There's nothing precious or subtle about Gourdough's. These are big, sweet and in your face doughnuts . You'll wish you were hungrier. Try the Cherry Bomb .
Heavenly hash is loaded with chocolate bits, marshmallow topping, brownies on top of hot doughnut , can't go wrong with that.
You will never come across a line-up of donuts quite like these. The fly pig (bacon w/ maple icing) the dirty berry (fudge chocolate w/ grilled strawberries ) the list goes on. Read more
HUGE donuts that are more a fancy dessert than a quick bite . Try the Elvis, PB +J or Banana Puddin'.
Delicious, just make sure you're ready for sweet and ready to dig in (ideally as a group). Any given order is 1,200-2,000 calories, easy.
The freshest and most delicious donuts ever, made and topped to order. Try the heavenly hash .
Best food truck ever! My absolute favorite is the Funky Monkey--grilled bananas , cream cheese icing with brown sugar . It costs only $4.50. Add a scoop of ice cream for $1 more!
Another late night dessert and drinking spot , choose from a huge selection of doughnuts piled high with a variety of toppings
Order the Slow Burn (habanero pepper jelly , cream cheese topping) or the Flying Pig (bacon , maple syrup icing) — and a wheelbarrow to help you back to your car.
the huge donuts are more like a meal. ordered son of a peach per rec and was not disappointed by the crispy donut topped with sweet creaminess.
Sugar on sugar on sugar in so many ways. You only need one cause they’re HUGE. Definitely check them out. Something for every taste.
PB&J must stand for Pure Bliss and Joy because it's amazing. I considered making myself throw up so I could experience it again.
Gourdoughs is famous for the most delicious donuts in Austin. The toppings and fillings are pretty heavy, so I would recommend splitting a donut if you don't want a stomach ache!
This place is RIDICULOUS. The Slow Burn (habanero jelly and cream cheese icing ) was amazing. I seriously thought about ordering everything. I still dream about this place. - Kellie, Community Manager
An awesome collection of flavors full of twists and turns! The heavenly hash was phenomenal!
Gordough’s offers handmade donuts fried to order and smothered with funky toppings. Try a Mother clucker – a massive donut topped with Cajun coated chicken strips and honey butter .
Here you can cross ‘eat a donut the size of your head’ off your bucket list. Scarf down the Fat Elvis, it has peanut butter and bacon on it, mmmmmm...
Haven't been in almost 2 years.. It took about that long to work off the donut from back then.. Can't go wrong with it, just don't go if you're not ready for a spike in your heart rate
The Freebird was amazing. The service was great and the food came out very quickly.
Highly recommend any of the varieties with berries . We tried them all.
The Elvis is amazing. Just don't think about how many miles you'll have to run to burn the calories...
The granny’s pie is really good. The donut is huge as well !
The donuts are HUGE but delicious. The strawberry shortcake was perfect.
These doughnuts are delicious, though sweet-tooth-slayingly huge. Come w/ friends so you can get multiple types and split. Also, you will need at least $5 in cash to… (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
The funky monkey & dirty harry dessert doughnuts are great. I can't wait to come back & try the savory doughnut items!
Amazing unique gourmet donuts . Be sure to bring a friend. Definately a stop on my next trip to Austin.
The Carney is covered in Apple pie topping, peanuts and caramel so good!
The donuts were just perfect, crispy and hot on the outside and soft inside. Can't go wrong with anything here.
Yep, as many have said the Miss Shortcake is very good. Just don’t try to eat it while you drive, you’ll make a mess.
Just had the Carney! My mind just melted! Delicious treat! Definitely will be back to try some more!
These doughnuts are huge - and a meal in themselves. If it's busy, it can take quite some time before your order turns up.
So far my favorite is the mother clucker . Never had anything like it. But it's a heartattack waiting to happen.
Mother clucker was the winner. House made fried chicken and honey butter !
Miss Shortcake is melt in your mouth good! Loaded with lots of strawberries too!!
The flying pig is the best donut in Austin, which is why it’s on our list of The Tastes That Make the City : Austin. Read more
Want to know why you're paying about $5 for a donut from this trailer? Because these aren't just donuts—they're fried pieces of heaven, available in a dizzying array of flavor combinations.
Awesome food truck with very delicious yet unhealthy fat bombs. Get the mother clucker
The donuts are HUGE. I had the Miss Shortcake but the Funky Monkey is pretty famous.
The veggie torta is divine. Garlic fries and deliciousness. - Callie Thompson
the lemongrass tofu with mushrooms bun is awesome! - Sandeep Radhakrishnan
Nice free tour but tons of people touring in the summer. - Amy Robertson
