Both the priciest & BEST banh mi I've ever had. The pate on the house banh mi is rich, savory, and smooth as velvet, and their baguettes are both soft and crunchy. Simply perfect and totally worth it.
My favorite place in austin. The breakfast selection here is divine. The sticky rice and poached eggs are delicious and the perfect breakfast if you're tired of tacos . The croissants are excellent.
Chef Greg Garwood decided to reinvent the classic French-Vietnamese sandwich , Bánh Mì , as a morning meal. In short—it's the Franco-Vietnamese-Texan sandwich that a breakfast town like Austin deserves. Read more
I ordered the Beignets & Jam (pic) and the Sticky rice with ginger sauce and poached eggs . This is a magical place with magical food. Highly recommended for brunch .
A little pricey for the area, but the Singapore noodles were delicious and a great portion size. The sauces for the spring rolls also good. Very cute cafe .
Elizabeth Street marries stylish and colorful design with a fusiony take on Vietnamese and French cuisine . The house banh mi , macarons , and playful punches are highlights. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
Had the beignets with raspberry jam , sticky rice with poached eggs , and the French toast . SO delicious. Sit on the patio - they have heaters.
The Sticky Rice with Ginger Sausage and Poached Eggs was delicious! Served with herbs, sriracha and hoisin . Also enjoyed the house mint tea and Chicken and Rice soup .

A gem. Great vibe, generous portions and too busy to expect a last minute table. Loved their cocktails , chili ginger dumplings , and drunken noodles .
Dessert is a must ! There pastries are delicious ! They have this biscuits with layers of of flaky bread and butter covered in a sticky delight of sweetness!!! And have a Vietnamese coffee !

Had breakfast/brunch here. Vietnamese-french cuisine and bakery . Delicious Shanghai noodles and pork buns . Highly recommended. Cute location and deco. Great staff and service.
Arguably the best breakfast in Austin, at inarguably one of the few places where everything good about Austin fuses into one establishment.
I Love a great Bahn Mi so this is the only thing I ever order when I come here Its French infused Vietnamese Perfection!! My husband has had the Pho which is also excelent!
Pate bahn mi , bun , spring rolls , brunch menu , best macarons ! Love the atmosphere, everything tastes fresh and flavorful. One of my favorite Austin spots.
I am still apposed to a bowl of pho tai costing $26 dollars… but this red curry dan dan noodle dish was so life-changingly good that I think I have to try the pho next time.
Vietnamese cuisine made with grass-fed meats, pastured eggs , local organic produce , and seafood fresh from the Gulf makes us happy, but not as happy as the dreamy drip coffee served iced or hot.
Loved the many spring rolls and the banh cuon as well as the insane lassi and fizz cocktails
"This new dish has my favorite Asian flavor, kaffir lime . Roll it up in a lettuce wrap and your lunch is golden. Grab a chocolate bouchon on your way out." - Chekmark Eats Read more
Top picks include their inventive punches, the house special banh mi with chicken liver mousse and the Singapore noodles . [Eater 38 Member]
Lime fried chicken bun with added mushrooms on a hot summer day is a perfect way to cool down. Get a naughty and end your yummy lunch with a fresh pastry or the sesame profiteroles
They say you can't have one but I do.. this is my favorite restaurant in Austin. Decorated beautifully. Order a specialty item (bottom of the menu). Macaroons are a must, two of every flavor!
Elizabeth St. Cafe is my goto sunday afternoon. The Pho and Dan Dan noodles are great. I usually finish with their financier and cappuccino . Absolutely love the ambience too!
The pork belly buns are incredible. I could've eaten two portions for dinner but I'm glad I didn't because the chicken thigh bahn mi was also amazing!
Casual Vietnamese spot with plenty of coffee and alcohol to go with the range of tasty treats
"Vietnamese with a French accent" is a good description of Elizabeth Street Café . Start with an order of pork buns before digging in to a bowl of pho . More places to eat like a local: tandl.me/12ufz7c
If you don't want to drink Phu (soup ) definitely get the Bún or the Bah Mi sandwiches . It's absolutely fantastic. The best part is that everything is FRESH
Fantastic atmosphere and tasty food, but you'll pay for it - pretty expensive for Vietnamese. Skip the bùn and go for the pho - broth is amazing, and save room for a pastry or two!
Crazy good pork belly bun , great for hangovers. Got the drunken noodles and Banh cuon to share & was not disappointed. Only down side was very little alcohol in the punch drinks but they were tasty.
Funky and clean atmosphere. The food isn't what you'd expect, but it's amazing. I've never called Vietnamese refreshing before, but this place is. Great tea selection and fantastic macaroons .
Beautiful women, awesome music , cozy environment , and crazy good food that's not pretentious . Sign me up! (And take a look at the hilarious canvas art tucked back in the big table corner)
Try any of their patio punches! The Shady Blonde with sparkling wine , littet, grapefruit , and thyme , or Saigon Morning Punch with pineapple-infused dry sake , jalapeno , mirin, lemon , and fresca!

Breakfast bahn mi will result in heavy breathing ????
Love the food!!! Service was alittle slow but the options are great. Definitely will recommend and I won't mind going back again.
Great Asian food with a cool hipster atmosphere. Loved the fried chicken vermicelli , and don't be afraid to get coffee (they serve StumpTown ).
Rice noodles with lime chicken were great! Also get the Red Dragon punch - super refreshing on a hot day.
I got the Kaffir Lime fried chicken Bún . This particular dish I give a 3/5, but the spring rolls are a solid 5. Great outdoor seating .
Great new Vietnamese spot on South 1st. Good banh mi , pho , bun and good brunch (the crispy vermicelli cakes are like high fiving your taste buds).
The French toast is amazing, but really you can’t go wrong with anything. Vegetarian friendly .
Exquisitely fresh and full of flavor, a lovely light lunch of shrimp spring rolls
Sticky rice and ginger sausage for breakfast . So fresh and good. I love the tea and Vietnamese coffee as well . Really fun spot.
Can't go wrong with one of the Bahn mi 's. Dumplings and pho are delicious too. Wine is decent. Fun casual place .
The steamed bun is delicious and super fluffy! The fried red fish fried rice is pretty good. Charming ambiance!
Ask for the burger , it's a secret menu item and it's amazing. Also any Pho is great and big enough to share
It was all great. Specifically the cucumber and mango salad , baguette and escargots and steamed pork buns .
Try their take on the bánh cuốn : it's a bit chewier than the real deal but the flavors are on point.
The breakfast banh mi are fabulous, and the baked goods might be the best in Austin
Tasty pressed mushroom and tofu bahn mi on house made bread - ask for no mayo for a vegan version of this stellar sammie.
Bahn mi, bahn xeo (crepe), wonton soup and cream puffs.. can't go wrong. Best bread. Great family run place with good food and good people. - Neven Simpson
