The LHF Off Road Race in November lets you "wade through creeks, dodge farm animals and claw your way to the top of gullies with 7500 (limit) other runners of questionable senses."
Hours are posted on the website under the Hours and Admission tabs and do include information about last admission times. If visiting in Sept or May, weekends mean no school tours , which run Wed-Fri.
