Kōtō , Tokyo 135-0061 Japan
Boring. What a difference from Tsukiji! If you’ve been to Tsukiji, don’t bother. Saved you 5000 steps, an early morning, and a cab ride.
The new fish markets are not worth visiting. You cannot get close or even hear what is happening on the market floor. It is a real shame as the old market was such an amazing experience
Nothing to see actually. Everything was closed at 1:00 pm
Not worthwhile. Better to go to the old Tsujiki outer market .
The best view of the tuna auction is from the lower observation deck, which requires a ticket ahead of time. You need to apply for the lottery online at the Toyosu market website for this ticket. - Steve Woodrow
Definitely worth a visit. Be sure to squeeze into the small alleys in the back - there are some excellent restaurants. - Thomas Knüwer
Go early be prepared to wait about 2 hours. It's worth it. A great value for a delicious omakase! - Greg Siegal
