The Pulitzer Arts Foundation has rotating shows of both historic, and contemporary art . The museum itself is lovely, and the curation is always thoughtful.
Right next to the Contemporary so it's easy to catch two shows on one opening night. Free street parking can usually be found.
Tadao Ando; serene & incredible collection
Rotating exhibitions on a regular basis, displayed in galleries that are both intimate and iconic. Don't miss Richard Serra's 'Joe', in the courtyard .
Very nice exhibition and it is all free!
It's a must to visit Pulitzer on exhibition opening day.
Magnificent venu!
Good museum , but the security guard was really rude last time I went. To avoid a hassle, don't bring even a small purse or clutch. Other than that, pretty nice space.
In Feb 2012, Emily Rauh Pulitzer was presented with the National Medal of the Arts by President Barack Obama - http://bit.ly/zM6TEI
Don't touch Joe.
Plan for a whole day to see everything. Two places to eat, both pricey. Cool museum. - Amanda F
Very nice museum with always changing exhibits. I love that it is free, parking is easy to find, and there is a cafe located here. However, I was very surprised at how small it is. - Michael Morgan
First class gallery any time but special on First Fridays! - Mike Murray
The Ballroom upstairs is wonderful. Here are some pictures from the terrific Abigail Washburn Concert. - John Oliver
Solid beers on tap and very nice bartenders. The pretzel hotdog is a great hungover move. - Brett Venker
