Tucked away in the magic of Griffith Park , this is a quiet and perfect place to end your hiking . Pastries are all made from scratch, they also serve gluten-free items and non-dairy beverages
Great place to relax before/after a hike . They have Stumptown coffee and amazing sandwiches and pies ! Must eat their pie or any home-baked goods. They also make their own almond milk .
Even a short line takes long but it's worth it for a lemonade , lavender shortbread cookie and egg salad for lunch after walking the trail. Free water and wifi too! They finally take credit cards !
Start at the southern tip of Griffith Park and walk through the lovely Fern Dell trail . Arrive and "eat pie in the forest like a king". It's not the food that's special, it's the surrounds.
Arrive just before the cafe opens and enjoy the scent of all the fresh baked goods . Amazing. Totally worth it to relax and in enjoy the present.
Lovely outdoor space . The service is quick and the staff are friendly . They might offer your dog a treat too!
So happy to have discovered this place. Agree w/ most that the avocado sandwich was pretty awesome. The vegan strawberry rhubarb pie was out of this world. Will definitely go back.
Serves healthy lunch foods and fancy baked goods . Chill outdoor snack bar which is dog friendly with free wifi . No cc's so bring cash and come early because the line is a bit slow going. Love it!
Great pie . Coffee is Stumpletown. Make sure to have cash or you have to spend a certain amount.
From 500 B.C. on the Tongva tribes displaced the Chumash in this region. The Tongva called the canyon Mocohuenga. They had a settlement here by 1500, decades before Cabrillo would describe this coast.
Been here for over an hour & the line is consistently 15 people deep & takes a half hour to get thru.Try the lavender vanilla shortbread . It's perfectly sweet and salted. I hate lavender & I luv this.
One of LA Scooter Groups meetup locations for our epic rides. Grab a bite and something to wash it down with while enjoying the great outdoors.
Delicious coffee and food at the begging of the trail. Next to playground so expect a ton of kids.

Great outdoor cafe with picnic tables . Very peaceful .
They take credit/debit now, but with a $5 minimum. They replaced the lavender shortbread with rose-lemonade shortbread . It's okay, but not worth the trip if that's all you want.
Try the Cheddar And Chive Scone - #savory
Pumpkin pie is so tasty!
don't expect any meat here. and "healthy" is a misnomer for not meat. healthy means hold the mayo , cheese , and half the pastries they serve here... (free wifi FTW)
