Great place to make your first stop if you are entering Great Smoky Mountains National Park from Gatlinburg. There are restrooms , an information desk and small gift shop . Get the maple syrup .

Great place to stop before entering the mountains . They have a ton of information about the park and a small gifts shop with really neat souvenirs. Also, the huge map of the mountains is awesome.

Beautiful scenery, and the path itself is moderate in difficulty. They close the path from motorists on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7am-11am, so only cyclists & walkers can pass through. It's great! - Valerie Leek
