One of my all time favorites. Been coming here for years, good 'sit down' Mexican food , great chips and salsa and, of course awesome margaritas .
This place slays, seriously. Everything is good and they do pitchers of the best margaritas . You will not regret coming here...until the hangover the next morning
Make sure to get a citrus heavy cadillac margarita with your highly fried tortilla chips from here. The chips come with a panoply of cheese , sour cream , guacamole , picante salsa , and carne asada . Read more
Seafood soup feeds two, with rice , beans, tortillas and complimentary chips and salsa $17
Excellent Margaritas and a tasty shrimp burrito . Don't order the chimichangas though. Get there early; it tends to get packed and the staff has a hard time keeping up.
Margaritas are excellent, as is the steak . Only negative was the tortillas - go for the corn , not the flour. This is a regular stop on the mariachi circuit. Get ready when they pass the hat.
Best no frills Margs in town . Go by the glass versus pitcher because the salt on the rim is especially good.
Stop by Puerto Alegre for a cadillac margarita . After your first one talk your friends into splitting the oh-so-good carne asada nachos . Read more
This place was dope - great margs and burritos . It's nice enough to sit down and eat in for dinner but totally unpretentious.
Start with a pitcher of Margaritas and then move onto a combo platter or if they have it, a torta !
Best chilé relleno I've had in a long time. Pitcher of margaritas is on point too.
There is always a wait at this dive Mexican spot, but once you take your first bite you'll understand why. They always overestimate the wait time (45 minutes = 15 minutes), so hang nearby.
The pitchers of margaritas and the sample platter are great!
After my Mexican friend took me to this restaurant , I understand that the Mexican food served elsewhere sucks. This is the best place!!
You might have to wait, but it's worth it. Classic Mexican cuisine and great margaritas . I always make a combo - it's just so personal.
I had an amazing carne asada burrito here - one of the best in the city !
Have the Tostada Salad ! It's the best and healthy! #LushLife
M-F happy hour 3:30-6pm
I found the margaritas too sweet and had to ask for less agave syrup . They also serve them in a water glass instead of a classic margarita cocktail glass. :(
Usually a wait but it moves fast, and it’s worth it.
Chips and salsa + pitcher of Margarita = excellent evening. Huge portions
Great happy hour deals ! $5 margaritas ! Friendly service
If you order a pitcher ask for it fresh without triple sec or sour mix
A San Francisco Mission Dist staple. Order a margarita and fajitas .
The burritos are life changing. I get off the plane and this is my first stop.
Ask for Dobel margaritas . Killer!!!
Their house margarita is simple and delicious! Grab a pitcher and a combo platter
Machaca for breakfast , bistec encebollada for dinner
Guac and quesadilla are excelente!
Get a rather large pitcher of your favorite flavored margarita .
Great fajitas and excellent top-shelf margaritas . Our might have to wait for a table...
Get there early to avoid a long wait that is well deserved. Love this place!
Mole (red) is the way to go
Live mariachi on Sunday nights and solid Mexican and Tex Mex .
Get the pozole soup , it is amazing to the last drop!
Good food, try the quesadia suiza roasted chiken.
Love this place but they need to get some wifi , it's a black hole.
Good spot for a casual Mexican sit-down dinner . Margaritas are solid. Lots if Mission hipsters ...
Stewed chicken burrito is fantastic!
Good California Mexican food and great margaritas .
Everything about the tostada salad is delicious... Especially the chicken .
Get the margaritas ! Preferably a pitcher
Enjoyed the Chicken Chimichanga and a pitcher of frozen margarita !
All the beans are vegetarian ! No lard here.
I highly recommend the 2nd margarita .
Have the enchiladas with green sauce . Delicious. Their chips and salsa are killer too.
The enchiladas verdes are fantastic
Best mexican restaurant in SF! Love it!
The fresquito is like a piña colada but better.
Margaritas are good. The food is totally forgettable.
One of the first veggie burritos I've had in SF with more veggies than just salsa and lettuce. Seriously delicious and filling for only $7! - Luke Bornheimer
Classic Mexican burrito stop in the heart of the Mission. The quesadilla and burritos are my favorites. - Rebecca Goberstein
The Prechuga Al Achiote (chicken marinated in Achiote and spices) entree is super yummy! - Tim Macalino
Good dive. Excellent beer selection. Fantastic 70s decor. - Amy Rappaport
Nice chilled vibes here with a live band playing when I visited... - Steven Waller
Great for picnics and getting out with family, pets or friends! - MissConnor
