Had a steak and ale pie . Awesome crust. Went in early and had attentive and swift service for lunch .

Get the Wagyu Burger . It's pricey but one of the tastiest burgers you'll ever eat! Well worth the money.

Lacking vibrancy due to the design of the pub . Kind of roundish and the centre does not have much space. But decent place to have a drink.

Cosy and smooth atmosphere, thus quality conversations are around this great place. Recommend!

Kitchen opens at 12. Had ordered some platter which was fish & chips deconstructed. Fish could be improved. Curry sauce not bad.

Est. as a licensed pub in 1674. The building had been an establishment at that location since the thirteenth century. Last rebuild of building was in 1900.

Clean and convenient, service is good, standard fare for the menu.

Nacho review: Small portion for £10. Hardly any cheese . Chips were the (only) redeeming factor.
