Great place to catch a show, the architecture of the place is amazing along with the outdoor art work display. There are also plenty of coffee shops nearby.

Denver's gigantic Arts Complex covers four city blocks and houses six distinct performance venues. New York's Lincoln Center may be larger, but the 'Plex boasts an 80ft high glass roof!

One of Denver's best not-so-well-kept secrets. The DCTC is one of he best troupes in the United States . Buy tickets for anything that is playing during your stay and you will NOT be disappointed!

Hosts many different events and venues. I worked at events here and attended a comedy show in December. It has beautiful modernized art and you can't miss it, just look for the dancing stick people!

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is a not-for-profit organization that produces 11 plays, presents 13 musicals , and educates 50,000 students.

I would highly recommend eating at The Market in Larimer Square, the homemade nature of the place sits well before going to a show.

Culture vultures can choose from a blockbuster touring Broadway musical or a stirring performance by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Opera Colorado or Colorado Ballet .

People visiting Denver has to visit this place. They have great productions. In addition, this is the biggest performing center in the country after New York's.

Never park in the parking garage , it will take you longer to get out then it did to watch the performance .

Denver collects more for the arts per capita than any other city . There is a 10th of a cent sales tax for the arts that raises up to $36 million/year.

It may be helpful to promote shows to students on the Auraria campus. The largest college population in the state is right across the street.

Unless it's a sold out show, $10 tickets for students during curtain call hour. AMAZING deal. You can't beat that...

Many good plays. Plenty of bars ... Tip your bartender . Parking is not a mess. Buell Theater has tiny seats.

Nothing less than excellence; a true cultural gem in the mountain states .

You can find a number of works by street artist David Choe (same guy who did the FB murals ) at the 13th & Champa intersection .
