Small piano bar . We went on a Saturday night and they had open mic . Since it's small, we didn't have to wait too long to sing . No cover, but they make up for it with drink prices.
Good staff and that's all. They brought pasta with seafood instead of seafood plate as it was written in menu for 29$. Wine wasn't enough good for 12$ per glass. And yep,18% tips. Not recommended!
Went here for the 3 course $24 prix fixe because it sounded like a steal...but the salmon was SO small that I'm still hungry
Beat the post curtain rush to get a table or you'll be sat in the "secret back room". Tip the piano player & drink up cuz it's a sing-a-long! You're just as good as everyone else after a few cocktails
I love this place! Almost every Saturday night me and my friend go there to enjoy absolutely good live music playing by talented awesome people.
The bartenders singing while they make drinks is fantastic. TARA is amazing. Amazing. Mariah Carey who? And JOSH? Best piano man ever and overly entertaining in the comedy department as well .
Still a classic/historic place to see local cabaret artists . Drinks are a bit pricy and it smells like a toilet , but free cover and fun shows.
Great spot near the theaters if u aspire to to be an actor go to the back and perform to your hearts content. U never know who will show up to perform .
The sexy mamma cocktail was so good. Excellent music and ambience.
Super fun, but if you want to have a conversation DON'T sit right in front of the piano. Also bring cash to tip the singers !
Come in for a cabaret show or a lovely dinner and stay for the Piano Bar . Live entertainment every night at 9pm with a singing waitstaff and no cover in the main room
The small room is an Excellent #cabaret space to play and watch
A piano bar . Grab a beer and enjoy!
Experience true cabaret at Don't Tell Mama. Here nothing’s needed except the singer , the song, a musician or two, and the give & take of the crowd. Discover local spots for cabaret on MetroFocus Read more
One of the favorite places of the Inman Team to go to - love the piano bar and their martini's are the best!
Just fun and relaxing. Such a great team works there!❤️❤️
Honestly don’t think the pianist plays better than any of the street performers in NYC
This place is hit or miss, but I love that these cabaret singers are willing to express their souls to the public and test things out. Go support them.
Great entertainment, great drinks, but DO NOT EAT dinner here!
Don't sit in the back room, no lighting & isolating. Great for open mic if you want to sing .
The Baked Fusili was delicious! Very light and enjoyable with just enough spice!
Went here for an early evening cocktail at the bar . Atmosphere was good, but not so sure about the cocktails !
Great spot to catch up and coming acts.
Great staff and wonderful performers .
The new pianist in the back room thinks it's all about him. Don't bother putting requests in!
Reasonably priced drinks in the theatre , fantastic shows - support local arts and do it!!
Had the best time!! Try the Cinderella slipper cocktail !
Great piano music ????
Make sure not to call it Karaoke when the Bway pros are singing . They don't appreciate it!
Has the remarkable ability to make you feel young especially if you are aged 30 or less.
Great place to go with friends... I always have a blast there!
Great open mic place - if u want a good piña colada this is a good spot - sidecar? Nit so much.
Everything
Interesting cocktail bar was very busy 6/10
A GREAT piano bar . This place is so much fun.
Best garlic bread I've even had.
Broadway performers , pianoman, and waitresses singing as they pour drinks :-)
Excellent $5 cosmos for happy hour in the piano bar !
Being here made my holiday. Great entertainment. A must see! x
There is nothing like live entertainment! Don't Tell Mama's delivers it in spades
Drink and songs!
The crowd seemed a bit too mature, and the drinks were overpriced. $7 for just red bull ?
Fun & talented performers , sour waitstaff . Come for the cabaret , not the food; it's mediocre at best.
Classic NYC cabaret . Funny, too. Don't $$$pend Carlysle money.
Try the raspberry mound, sounds sketchy but it's rad.
Tommy's Judy is the best!
Peter's show is great.
Bartender and pianist
Lots of middle-aged, happy, drunk white people. Also "no dancing ."
Request the deli song, trust me.
Check out the second floor! The cocktails are amazing and the childhood nemesis has a nice kick to it. - Philip Massey
The space is great, tucked under Chelsea market. A little escape with great cocktails and random books. Snag a table if you can! - Melissa Monsalve
Fun place!! Great staff..best happy hour!! - Sean Franklin ????????????????♂️????????
Always great after a play when you want to play more! - MafiaHairdresser Jon-David
