The hike was relatively straightforward and the lake was beautiful. The problem is there's no shade except at the top of the hike and by the lake .
This place is gorgeous. The sunset was beautiful, the birds are cool, it's very peaceful here!
This may be one of the nicer places on the planet for a walk, hike , jog or bike ride . The views of the foothills , the lake and the incredible Colorado skies cannot be beat.
Try to find the two trails that go up in the foothills , great views from up there!
